VeloxMedia deadpool

Or something like "VeloxMedia threatens and defrauds customers", since to say they're deadpooling is to admit that Lewis' business is a different VeloxMedia than Eric's, which lends credence to his claims that he owes us nothing. That would be a more accurate (and catchier) title, imo.
Well, I tried
it is ofc unpleasant that whoever this guy is (Eric-Lewis-John-William whatever), he just spit in customers' faces. I ok with my loss (around $30) but it is a shame that many people got 3 years deals for $100+.
Can't wait for that email to hit my inbox.
You have to ask. For some reason they don’t just say it.
@emgh can we start drawing? So he can know what he are really doing, man is confused and in circles.
Go ahead, no need to ask for permission
I hope the Stripe would do the same.
I think at this point we can only assume that this was just a simple exit scam from the start. A brand new provider tag here, unsustainable deals, no company registration behind it. Lots of people pointed out how sketchy it looked when their offers first showed up in the BF megathread.
It seems clear now, as was suspected when Eric first showed up, that this was just a stalling tactic to drag things out beyond the chargeback window. Hopefully enough people will still be able to get their money back given that it seems many chargebacks are being accepted instantly.
At this point, we only have their word that Lewis, Tom and Eric are real people.
The fact that Eric has been goading people since he first showed up, and then the single message about Lewis already being busy on a holiday abroad, makes me certain they had already extracted enough money from the scam to consider it a success, and probably the last 3 weeks has just been an ego trip while hoping that people will hold of chargebacks. He has now switched to saying he was only on LET for entertainment.
Probably the best course of action now is to hope that stripe/paypal will continue to pay out for chargeback claims, and then investigate the accounts that received whatever money has been paid out already. They will have more information available to trace where any money has ultimately ended up than we can hope for.
Can we finally conclude that the end is nigh?
Yes.
Anyone impacted using their Directadmin services, feel free to reach out and I will see what I can offer as I am in the process of deploying a Directadmin node based in the UK.
Guys can you spare 20 seconds to write review of this scam company
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/veloxmedia.co.uk
This way they wont do it again on another forum as he said they will sell on other platforms.
The end is always nigh.
Surprised they still have such good reviews on there when they have a 100+ page 70k view drama thread on LET lmao
I doubt it matters anyway, they're not selling anything. The scam is essentially over or that nutter wouldn't be spending 8hrs/day baiting people with nonsense in the other thread.
I feel a little bad for the 2 or 3 guys still posting about giving them another chance or whatever though, impressive blinders.
We came across a specialty drug that provides eternity life.
Once you take the eternity drug, you would become incapable of dying and you can live indefinitely.
However, if you are injured, your wounds can never heal, and consequently you’ll be in pain for the rest of your life.
Would you take the eternity drug?
What did I missed here
If it disabled normal cell cycle like higashi ouchi, as it's "healing", then it's give or take, few months before total organ failure.
If we modeled it as severe immunodeficiency, give or take it would take few years even when living on clean room
If bruises never recovered, is it possible blood clots are free to circulate?
The eternity drug has been enchanted by Supergirl.
You cannot explain it with biology.
I don't know. It sounds like shitty eternity drug
No. Even if they are not recovered, the fibrin will break down. All that happens is you'll have a higher free heme concentration in your blood which will stress your kidneys, and you'll have bad gas whenever you eat fatty foods because your liver won't be producing bile as an emulsifier (bile is essentially recycled heme from blood cells in bruises, etc.).
It's much more fun to bring the entertainment to all platforms they - and their related companies - will try to do business...
I'm hoping for a "where's Eric Banks offering" topic here on LET in the future...
Yep, true. On the other hand, in defence, a few of my most loved VPSes were from those kind of deals, ran or running for years. It's part of the game in my opinion: sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And if you can't afford to lose sometimes, don't play the game.
Yeah, but there was this reddit sale thread by the original owner https://www.reddit.com/r/webhosting/comments/1pq6cfh/looking_for_someone_to_take_over_my_company/
So to me it seems like it's one of these options:
Actually, I'm just annoyed about wasting hours of my time that I planned to spend playing a game I'm midway through, naively thinking I might be able to get them to do right by their customers. Early on, I was already thinking to myself that nobody could possibly be that stupid, but I didn't take that as a sign to just bail out of it, and instead kept going round in circles trying to help.
It's frustrating because this whole end game doesn't seem to have actually served any purpose other than antagonising everyone. "Lewis" had already completed his exit scam, this side show has just been an utter waste of time. If paypal and stripe are actually accepting every chargeback immediately, those 3 weeks have gained them nothing other than stoking the ego of a narcissist.
I'm sure every identity in this is a complete fabrication and "Eric" is only so smug because he thinks the paper trail he's left out in the open will lead nowhere. But at least I'm pretty confident that if stripe and paypal are returning cash to users that they've already paid out, they're going to be fairly serious about investigating that money trail.
I don't think he was looking for a buyer at all, though I imagine if he found someone gullible enough why not take advantage. The post was just part of the setup for this Eric-chapter idiocy.
Obviously I can't prove anything but quacks like a duck etc.
Maybe mods could check if his IP, User Agent, etc. changed at all after "Eric" took over the account. Especially since users are asking for them to be banned.
Lucky I did not renew and moved to ultra
Too cheap to bought.
