Senior Sysadmin/DevOps available for odd jobs & server fixes (AZ-104, K8s, Go)

Hi folks,

I’m a Senior Cloud Engineer & Sysadmin (Azure AZ-104 certified) with some open availability in my schedule.

Instead of dealing with the bidding wars on freelance sites, I figured I’d offer my help directly here to the community. If you have a VPS acting up, a migration that went wrong, or need a Docker/Kubernetes setup fixed, I can handle it.

My Stack:

  • Linux: Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS hardening & troubleshooting.
  • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Code: Go & Bash scripting for automation.

I'm not an agency—just a guy who knows his way around a terminal. I charge fair flat rates per ticket. If I can't fix it, you don't pay.

DM me if you need a hand with anything.

:D I'm going to change it

  • To build some trust since I'm new here:

I am offering a free 30-minute fix/audit to the first 2 reputable members (established account/provider tag) who reply.

If you have a nagging issue or want me to audit your Dockerfile/Terraform script, let me know. In exchange, I just ask for an honest review in this thread.

  • Please fix this docker bug, its been nagging me :D

Wish you the best of luck with your search

Ah, I see you're hitting the new IPv6 bridge timeout (Issue #51833).

Since this is an upstream bug in Moby regarding neighbor discovery timeouts, patching the engine itself isn't practical for a quick fix.

However, I can solve the symptom for you right now. The issue is that the route drops when the link goes idle. The fix is to force a keepalive.

I can give you a simple sidecar container (or a systemd tweak) that runs a background ping to the gateway every 60 seconds. This forces the IPv6 neighbor table to stay hot and prevents the disconnect.

DM me if you want me to set that up for you, should take about 30 minutes.

@ahmadpiran why not add your hour rate? for example between $30-$170

    Thanks for the tip!

I intentionally left it off because I prefer Fixed Price (Per Project) quotes for this community. I find most people here prefer knowing the exact cost upfront rather than worrying about an hourly clock.

That said, for ongoing consulting, I usually aim for the $40-$60/hr range depending on complexity, but I'm very flexible for interesting projects or quick fixes.

No offense, but what makes your work more valuable or effective than that of a vibe-coding guy from Fiverr? From my impression, the quality there has improved and it's offered for a fraction of your service.

He is more valuable here because he is more valuable here than a guy in Fiverr.

No offense taken. It's a fair question in 2026.
If you need a script to install nginx or spin up a droplet, you absolutely should use the $10 guy or just ask ChatGPT. I won't beat their price or speed on isolaled tasks.
The difference is Day 2 operations.
Vibe-coding and budget gigs solve the immediate error message, It works, but they rarely architect for failure. They don't check if the Docker network creates a loop, they don't setup log rotation so your disk doesn't fill up in 3 months, and they don't secure the VPC peering.
    My value isn't typing code.
I check how this change impacts your other services ( so a firewall fix doesn't kill your database backup).
When the $10 script breaks during a Black Friday traffic spike, that freelancer is gone. I build systems (IaC/Terraform) that are recoverable and documented.
Ironically, about 40% of my consulting income comes from fixing working solutions that were built cheaply and became unmaintanable black boxes.
If the project is disposable, go cheap. If it's production-critical, you're paying for the insurance that I know which button not to press.

    Hi,
Istanbul, Turkey (GMT+3). (I overlap nicely with European business hours and US mornings).
I work as an independent contractor and provide standard PDF invoices for all work.
    Payment:
    1. Crypto: USDT (TRC20/ERC20) or XMR.
    2. Bank Transfer: I accept direct SWIFT transfers to my IBAN.
Let me know which one you prefer.
