I might have broken this by giving not quite accurate card PII (because I'm using a virtual card and name and postcode shouldn't have mattered). Anyway, the bank shows the transaction from 5 minutes ago, but the invoice still says UNPAID and keeps reloading every few seconds.

I thought it might have been flagged for fraud as my address is obviously incomplete, but thought that'd have flagged before taking payment if so.

I rarely encounter fraud checks before payment. Very annoying approach tbh.

What I've experienced (and heard from comments over here from various users) is for some reason the payment doesn't sync quickly - no idea why. I ended up paying twice just to be sure (previously). It does eventually show up - more like 30mins later or something like that but I guess the delay also depends on Paypal/Card or whatever else.

Anyway this time around, it isn't the kind of frenzy that has been the case previously and so I feel pretty confident that it'll all get sorted out.

Patience pays.
