Why DediRock Has Become My Go-To VPS Provider

vpsrevpsre Member
edited December 2025 in General

I’ve been using DediRock for a while now, and honestly, the experience has been consistently solid. Their VPS performance is stable, network quality is reliable, and I haven’t had to deal with unexpected downtime or strange issues that you sometimes see with other providers.

What really stands out to me is their support. When I’ve had questions or needed help, the responses were fast and actually useful — not copy-paste replies. You can tell they know what they’re doing and genuinely want to solve the problem instead of just closing tickets.

Pricing is fair for what you get, and the resource allocation feels honest. The VPS runs smoothly even under load, which is something I care a lot about. Setup was straightforward, and everything worked as advertised right from the start.

Overall, DediRock feels like a provider that values long-term customers. If you’re looking for a VPS service that’s reliable, reasonably priced, and backed by real support, DediRock is definitely worth considering.

After all, they’re all using Colocrossing servers, so this is perfectly normal.

I don't understand, they must be having their own hardware which they sell because their profit margins must be very low if they are reselling colocrossing (which itself has some really cheap deals)

You must be saying that they are using colocrossing datacenters/ are colocating on colocrossing correct?

Honestly racknerd and dedirock are two of the most synonymous providers that I find. Both are good in my opinion if you want cheap servers but I find racknerd can be a 2-3$ more expensive (dedirock 6 $ deal, racknerd 10$) but racknerd has been a bit more consistent on winning previous hoster of the year so I assume racknerd's got a bit more performance but overall it doesn't matter that much, both are really good imo

I have a VPS 7 USD with 30 GB SSD too.
This VPS use only for backup my main VPS by rsync.
It not fast (slowly - Ofcouse with this price) but enough to keep my data safe.
My purpose in buying this VPS is just for testing or backing up other VPSs, not for running a website. Therefore, with this purpose, I am completely satisfied with it. It hasn't missed a single backup.

I use a Dedirock VPS to monitor a bunch of stuff with uptime kuma, and then some free services to monitor the server uptime itself. The dedirock has the best uptime (although sometimes the downtime is on me).
