Berohost's chicken showcase after 2 years (1 Milan, 1 9950X, 2 Turin)

As you can see BeroHost have alot of deals recent and it too good to be true. I have run all yabs on my server, compare them with old yabs back when i got it or someone else.

This one got extra 2GB and 50GB storage from extending. Seem like the CPU got little degrade (1800 > 1400-1500). I might dispose or transfer this server to other people since new Turin node is better price per specs now.

This one got extra 2GB and 20GB storage from extending. Despite of new Turin lineup, this one still a beast even with a bit degrade (3100-3300 > 2600-2900).

It's weird that this one is having better score than Blackfriday M 2025, so i can say it worth. This literally a dedicated server now.

Total cost per year: 89 + 89 + 99 + 138 = 415 euro. Jesus i didnt expect i actually use this much money for idle/hobby home lab.

For past 2 years, I have created 6 ticket total:

  • 2 ticket for private network
  • 3 sales ticket
  • 1 issue ticket
  • 1 tax ticket

Andreas is very friendly and helpful guy, all ticket have been answered pretty fast, average 8 hrs even on weekend with longest around 2 days. He also satisfy most request you ask as long as it reasonable and not abuse.

11/10, recommend provider :D (and totally not shill post)

I dont think they have more than one support staff, all of my ticket was handled by Andreas. So he either an AI or they only hire people name Andreas :D .

But tbh, with that price tag i dont even expect i will get decent support reponse time so under 2-4 days is already unbeatable.

🙌🙂All my tickets are for sales so even late response not an issue, i didn't open one ticket for any issue until Now

Andreas is very helpful, support 10/10

  • There is only 1 thing Bero needs to do, monitor their nodes closer. They have affordable deals with great hardware but some of their customers indeed abuse the resources. For now Bero is nice enough to move nodes if you complain but it's not a feasible thing in the long run.

They should set more strict rules regarding CPU and Disk usage. Yesterday when I did yabs disk write speeds was down to 800 Mb/sec from 5 Gb/sec, even thou for a brief moment.

Someone must have been running YABS together with you

Restrict resources are double edge, it limit other people so you can have more resource but it also limit yourself when need.

Even 800Mb/s, it still faster than my Nuyek Dedi SSD

  • Damn they actually provide private network too?

Yes, send a ticket and Andreas will add extra network card.
Remember that doing this locked you out of reinstall feature as it will remove network card.
