Oh wow, this thread got crazy at the end... Aaaaanyway.

Just wondered what the progress on this is. My Enzonix renewal invoice just came through and it's kind of funny as the invoice says in big letters "3.5GHz EPYC or Ryzen". Just checked and my VPS is still on some crappy old E5.

Is this going to change soon? If not, I might as well just let my VPS lapse.

It's not changing, and terabit will not answer to tickets. Enzonix on their discord, blatantly states/dishonored all vps contracts and simple answer is, "they did not felt managing it anymore" so they sold us to some other people. This shall not go unpunished, and yes even if its over vps.

  • Both of my VPS are still with Enzonix in Germany.

+1. I renewed it as well, so hopefully there won't be any issues or too much of a downgrade.

  • @oriend said: I renewed it as well

Nah, I am not renewing them, wasted costs sadly.

What's the renewal price for yours?

  • @oriend said: What's the renewal price for yours?

    $24/y for both.

Understandable then, mine is way cheaper. What are the spec?

  • @oriend said: What are the spec?

    1/1/35, 10 and 20TB of traffic.

  • @SilverCreek When I try to cancel my Enzonix server, the Cancel button goes to a dialog with a pre-selected "Do not cancel" option and no choice to change it. Saving it pops up a toast saying "This service will not be cancelled". I've deleted my payment method instead.

  • Ngia, do you drink lipton?

Sorry to hear that, we didn't change any settings on Enzonix's billing portal, but I'll have @wadhah take a look quickly to make sure cancellations can be processed there. We'll have the billing moved over to our portal in the early new year.

Any news when Germany is planned for migration?

Germany is the last of the locations to be fully migrated off, and we've slated it for January.

I've also encountered a situation where users from Enzonix are being ignored. The service has been down for more than 24 hours, and support is silent. Ticket #2596887

It's a shame that Enzonix used to be my favorite supplier

    Hello,

Tickets will see a response today. We are sorry it has taken longer than expected to see a response from us. I have been extremely busy with things this weekend and it has swamped the tickets.

    Best,

My VPS in DE is also offline. I had to open a new account with terabit. The worst part of opening a ticket is that you can't pick an urgency. It's automatically on "low" and can't be changed.

VPS in Germany offline for 3 days... I never thought I would say this, but Terabit is the worst provider I had a VPS with unfortunately.

Even the ticket was answered not by a technical staff, but a billing person. I appreciate her answer, at least she wrote some generic reply of hardware failure which technical staff told her, considering they didn't even bother to reply.

Does anyone else have a offline VPS in Germany?

  • Same, both of my DE servers are offline. Most likely, I will just leave them idling until the expiry date, which is in 1-2 months I think. Very poor experience but well it is LET, it just happens.

Mine was expiring in December, so I've made a mistake and renewed it. Never thought it will be offline for three days.

    Hello,

We (Enzonix) have no control over the VMs (as they have been migrated to Terabit) and cannot get a response from Terabit, about any status. We will be removing VMs from customer accounts over the next week, as apparently Terabit did not do this while migrating them.

    Hello,

We have many plans and still are fully operational with many other services. VPS are unlikely to return in the same fashion as they were previously. With the lower pricing and higher performance the customers it brought in and abuse generated were more work, time and money wasted on damage control than the product was worth.

We will however no-longer be advertising here directly as a Patron Provider. It is possible we participate in events with storage offers or other services such as web offers in the future.
