Warning: MassiveGRID = MassiveSCAM

I cancelled my service with them, then 5 days later they billed my PayPal for a nonexistent, cancelled service. Now they’re pretending it’s not fraud. It is fraud.

Beware doing business with MassiveGRID.

Their services are slow as hell anyway so it’s not like it’s a worth it.

  • I'm personally surprised their servers still work. The Frankfurt one works reasonably well but the London location is down third of the time with random disconnects. I should have stayed with just one service.

Have you also cancelled the recurring yearly (I guess?) payment you setup on PayPal or you just cancelled the service? You sure it's them who billed you and not PayPal just sent the money because you set it to it by clicking Subscribe rather than One-Time payment?!

Properly configured merchant cancels billing agreement from their end upon service cancellation.

  • PayPal subscriptions are stupid. Almost passed over Dedirock for this reason. The only one out of like 10 providers I've used.

  • I've noticed in recent times that all the virtfusion-based providers only provide one paypal option and it's not clearly stated (imo) but it is actually a subscription. I don't know if it's an option they're choosing or if it's just how virtfusion works but I've gotten in the habit of just going ahead and logging into paypal to cancel the damn subscription immediately.

The irony is that some hosts know how to edit a billing agreement to increase prices, but not how to automatically terminate it when the service gets terminated.
