I only paid $99 so far, but yeah -- I’ll cover most of the transfer fees. This is my way of being festive and giving back to the community (while also making this a bit more enticing).
If you want to hear my BF journey, it might make more sense, lol:
I didn’t need another VPS, so I went into BF looking for a cheap yearly dedi deal in NY or Montreal. I wanted a decent server from a decent datacenter for my home/devlab cluster + redundancy (latency was important).
I ended up coming across this (ColoCrossing) deal as soon as BF started. It’s up in Buffalo (~30ms) and I’m near NYC. Honestly the only NY dedi deal I expected to show up, so I jumped on it.
A day later, PureVoltage dropped the same specs for $120/yr. I’m already a VPS customer with them and they’re in Telehouse NY, which is like 3-4ms from me. I wasn’t expecting to see a dedi and was honestly surprised -- didn’t move quick enough and missed out.
While waiting to see if it would come back around, I explored my options and decided to try to entice RobinM with a trade, knowing he picked one up -- hoping he didn’t care about the latency as much as I did and would want the same dedi for cheaper. He wasn’t interested.
Exploring more trade options with him and keeping an eye out for PureVoltage, I was lucky enough to snatch up a DartNode $99 dedi -- which is a whole different beast imo -- and I almost offered it up for to him for trade when BOOM... PureVoltage dropped the dedi deal again.
Now I don’t know what to do with myself -- ecstatic about my haul and feeling like sharing the wealth. I also kinda need to get this off my hands before I start idling dedis. Hope you enjoyed my TED talk! 😄

Not yet, as I just picked it up and it doesn't come included. ColoCrossing Buffalo only added IPv6 support recently and needs to be requested from support.

I just tried it, it's still active. It will give you the same dedicated server I offered but:
40TB bandwidth instead of 20TB
1TB SSD instead of 500GB SSD
$119/yr instead of $99/yr
