    Originally, I chose GreenCloud because it connected to xTom’s SoftBank routing. SoftBank offered good latency and speed to mainland China—although it has become pretty terrible nowadays. After using GreenCloud extensively, I discovered that its AMD and NVMe hardware gave me an excellent experience. The IOPS performance is several times higher than regular SATA SSDs, which is great for WordPress and MySQL. Later, I also purchased storage-focused KVM VPS plans for Nextcloud and FNOS. Compared with similar products, the small-file read/write performance of these storage plans isn’t bad at all, likely because they use high-performance SSD caching. So I ended up buying several units and have been using them ever since, which has been very convenient for my work. For entertainment, after subscribing to Viu and Netflix, I used GreenCloud HK and SG KVM VPS instances to install SNIProxy so I could watch local content. Overall: GreenCloud is cost-effective, high-performance, and its technical support responds quickly.
