Can you tell me what happened with ticket # 9216778

Brand new service. First time customer.

Requested a simple [full] "cPanel reseller to reseller migration" in subject. In the WHM login you have the transfer tool disabled for resellers.

Oct 28, 2026 2:25:09 AM Service Ordered (it took some time for service to show up as active)
    Oct 28, 2026 3:21:42 AM Ticket Opened
Oct 28 2026 11:36 PM HostBrr Replied [8 hours later]
Oct 29 2026 2:26 AM customer Replied [3 hours later]

Oct 30 2026 9:20 AM still no update [31 hours later]

One account wasn't migrated because you asked on your 11:36PM reply whether I wanted to overwrite an account on a brand new server (of course...it was a new server and asking for a full reseller migration). I responded within a few hours of being asked. And the ticket wasn't handled in what looks like 30+ hours later and still counting.

    Updated timeline:

Oct 28, 2026 2:25:09 AM Service Ordered (it took some time for service to show up as active)
    Oct 28, 2026 3:21:42 AM Ticket Opened

Oct 29 2026 2:26 AM customer Replied asking for follow-up [3 hours later]
Oct 30 2026 9:20 AM customer Replied asking for follow-up [31 hours later]
Oct 31 2026 12:18 PM customer Replied asking for follow-up [72 hours later]

Nov 1 2026 12:54 AM HostBrr Finally replied. "Sorry for the delay". [84 hours later]

@labze this is ridiculous. 3.5 days to respond to a ticket with a new customer with a simple request 👎👎

Yeah that's a real problem with cPanel it requires root access...

uh, no, that's not true. it's easy to perform it, if you offer it, do it right, and check/diff space usage after.

I haven't seen your ticket so I don't know what is going on but posting publicly doesn't give you differential treatment. I am not sure why this issue specifically needs to be addressed here.

We use cPanels built in transfer tool for cPanel -> cPanel migration. If a migration completes without errors we can only assume that it worked as intended.

Have you checked if there actually was a error? Quotas do not necessarily update instantly and it may simply be that it still shows usage from before migration.

I am not sure what you expect a diff to tell you?

I am sure there are many ways to ensure that transfers are successful but that would probably also require manual work.
