Nginx + FastCGI Cache on DirectAdmin

MadMad Member
edited November 2025 in Help

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand how FastCGI could be enabled on DA if you set "Nginx" as standalone webserver.
Apparently it's not natively supported unless you switch to Apache+Nginx which is not something I'm interested in:

Did someone manage to do it? If yes, how?

Please note: I'm planning to use for WordPress sites related, so should be enabled by default for each new one spawned.
There's a specific need to use DirectAdmin, cannot go for Slickstack, Wordops etc.

Thanks in advance for your hints!
