We've gone on some intense posting sessions over the past few days, and got very close to beating the comment count of the chef's day, but haven't yet beaten it.
It is, especially since I have a good collection of games though they're all packed up with my original console except for a flash cart. The thing can also play many other systems too. The gameboy will always hold a special place in my heart which is why I pre-ordered it the second I could and I didn't mind spending the money on it. It is a solid device and plays games exactly like the original handhelds/consoles (software emulation can be off a lot of times, especially noticable if you played the game on the original hardware a lot)

No clue but from a quick google, seems like they're going like $50 until retail prices. Though I'd personally wouldn't buy a used/pre-owned one unless it's coming directly from nintendo because a lot of folks have been using those migswitch flash cart things and nintendo has been banning them from their servers.
Have a friend from such a family who still has to get the elder patriarch's permission before any major decisions.
Oh, didn't know mod chips were already available for the switch 2. And yes, if there's anything Nintendo hates more than ROM websites, it's the mod chip manufacturers.
