  • Well, that sucks. Why are people shy to say shit, fuck, etc., though?

I think I would have called them instead of email to begin with, but I think "treated like shit" is a bit exaggerated sir.

I do not think this is exaggeration. Hetzner is known for poor CS, I do not think they care about these situations since they have got many customers.

I especially love when they ask for KYC docs to be emailed. EMAILED. Documents. Using unencrypted old mail protocols. And they assure they are deleting it after checking. Lol, what a shit provider.

  • well, regarding this specific issue, i don't think they " have to " give you an extension, it would be nice they give you an extension, but you can not " request " it

and for the " treated like sh!t " part, all you need to know is Hetzner once kicked a customer who paid them over 10k euros per month just because they don't like him, there is no abuse email or court order, just don't like,

  • To hetzner only corporate clients matter. There is really big money. Persons and low end persons are burden and massive costs towards support.

Do people in Europe or Germany not take care of their relationships with long time customers? Is asking for a 4-days payment extension before suspension reasonable?

    Hi,

please do not equalize the behavior of a mass provider with the behavior of any provider.

What you describe is actually well known by mass providers. I dont know why you expect a mass provider to give you that much individual adjustment to their own default procedures.

Try to ask any bigger company, to adjust to your individual problem ( being a customer for thousands of years or not ). The result will be usually the same.

So essentially you got what you paid for.

I do not say that this is good or bad or what ever. I am just stating the fact that for providers of bigger size, thats actually to be expected behavior.

Hi @layer7 . Long time no see. Hope you’re good!

@davidobrik567 - Could you please send me a DM so I can ask a colleague to look at your situation? (I don't want to comment on your private affairs in a public chat.) Please let me know your account number/late invoice number/something so my colleague can find you in our system. Thanks in advance! --Katie

    No. Just pay on time.
