Unfortunately for you, my friend, I have many dedicated servers and dozens of VPSs. This isn't my first time using IPv6, and while I wouldn't call myself an expert, I've been an Ubuntu developer for a long time. So, when you tell people you'll be offering an IPv6-only VPS, you should at least enable NAT64/DNS64. This would allow us to use IPv6 freely without being given any IPv4, unlike other hosting providers.

But if you're giving us IPv6 without enabling NAT64/DNS64, what's the point of the server? That was my point. I've but this service because I knew what IPv6 was, but what I didn't expect was that the hosting provider didn't have NAT64/DNS64 enabled.

If the servers are located at your home or your company, enable NAT64/DNS64 through your ISP. If you don't want to do that, at least enable it on the main server using TAYGA or Jool applications.
For us, if we use NAT64/DNS64 from resolv.conf, the IPv6 translation will be slower because most servers aren't near the translated servers, and the internet speed will drop below 5 Mbps.

You should start your own server hosting company. You clearly have the knowledge. Since it is so easy to just check the box in your upstream ISP that says "turn on NAT64", you should do that. And don't come crying to me, when your customers get mad that you are MITMing their connection, or the government gets mad that you are MITMing your customers' connections, or your NAT address is banned from Github for using too much data.

    What are you talking about?
Man, do you even know what NAT64/DNS64 actually is?
Are you speaking in your right mind?
Before writing a comment here, you should’ve searched for what NAT64/DNS64 is and how to enable it from your ISP or your server. It’s a translation layer for IPv6, it’s official worldwide.

It's truly a loss if you're a hosting provider, it's a crime that you don't understand what NAT64/DNS64 is. That's why I'm going to screenshot your comment for future reference.

it's just mean technical is easy, but legal and heavy session logs is not. Gateway nat translator act as mixer, a niche for abuse and legal claims

Oh my, what are you even talking about?
You clearly don’t understand NAT64/DNS64. It’s a protocol translator for IPv6↔IPv4, not a VPN or a man-in-the-middle. It doesn’t hide users real IPs, your server still has its footprint and connections can be logged and traced. Stop spreading fear and check the facts before making claims you don’t understand.

NAT64/DNS64 is an IETF-standard translation mechanism (RFCs for the IPv6/IPv4 translation family), it translates addresses, it doesn’t intercept or anonymize traffic.

It can be enable via Internet Service Provider (ISP) or from within the main server.

Can you find the original IPv4 from your webserver and your log access (ipv6 natted64)?
Do you need ask something to the nat64 administrator?

Can you find the original IPv6 from your webserver and your log access (ipv4 natted64)?
IPv4 have less information inside so a secret is keep by the nat64 gateway, then for abuse cases they have to respond to legal authority (heavy session logs ipv4 + port + timestamp session).
    IPv4 can be blacklisted ...

    Oh also cloudflare:

    Your questions are like:
Isn't it illegal to carry guns in the country? Then why are the police allowed to carry guns if it’s illegal?

Bro, NAT64/DNS64 is legal and you can enable it from your ((((((((((((((ISP))))))))))))))) if you are server owner
