Unsure on a good fair price. Last years BF got 2TB storage VPS for $29, so I guess something sort of scaling around that. That was a full vps but rather than just storage and needing to also have the VPS.

But something attractive HDD storage wise would be good.

not directly. you can attach block storage to a VM, and having 2 VMs connected in the same private network and expose that block storage to the other VM via private network.
