I was reading the past 20+ pages and all these while with tons of megathreads I hope everyone understand this one idea: Flash sale is a privilege and not a right.

If you have time to trade for deal sure go for it, else this is just how it is. Even then, the non flash sale that's available is already very discounted, you can still get them while the birthday sale is still on.

Hear, hear. Maybe that's why I crammed in the shabby cabin, placed an order at the normal price. PayPal stuck like forever.

Hey there's still one (?) last chance coming when @NDTN solved his IRL stuff

    Hi there 🍻

I started reading here far too late and are still skimming content at around page 265 or so. didn't have any time for duck races, quizzes or flash sales.

while not needing it, bought a 1212 DE anyway and wanted to throw my hat in the ring for some regular giveaway.

the network incoming seems rather... not really up to expectations nowadays in the FRA location :-/

    iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
    ---------------------------------

at least compared to what it used to be. maybe I should have gone for NL location instead. of course for the money the CPU score and RAM is still a lot value...

anyways, glad to see everyone is having fun. miss @Nekki times though...

We’ve noticed the issue as well - it appears to be related to the network card. We’ve shipped a replacement card along with our new servers from AMS to Frankfurt. Once it arrives, we can schedule maintenance to replace the faulty card. The network speed should return to normal after that.

awesome, thanks for that info and great to hear. one step ahead as always 💪🏻

I wouldn't have opened a ticket for a while, as I assumed with all the sales going on could also be quite some congestion anyway with systems getting set up and all the likes.

have no real use case for the vm right now, so gonna idle hard till network resolved and then probably just idle harder...

We’ve just completed some maintenance tasks at SG DC1 and are now heading back to DC2 for additional work. I expect to be back in 2–3 hours, possibly with a Flash Sale to wrap up the day. See you soon!
