Though I'm not sure how effective of a marketing strategy it is to deadpool then email your customers to tell them about your new brand.

No, they’re not shutting down.

Here’s the official email they sent out:

Dear Customer,
We want to inform you that your account was among a small group of users (around 2,000) affected by an unauthorized access to our admin panel. This incident led to a fake marketing email being sent out under our name.

⚠️ What Happened
The breach was traced back to a security issue from our third-party provider, Virtualizor Support, based in India. We've since blocked all external access, reinforced our infrastructure, and implemented new advanced protections to ensure this cannot happen again.

✅ Your Account is Now Secured
Please ignore the previous email — it was sent by an unqualified individual with no real control or access to your personal data. Your account and all our systems are now completely secured.

Security measures implemented:
• All external access has been blocked

But nope, that email came from unauthorized access, and the Space Hosting team already locked things down.

Spot on!
Space Hosting confirmed it was a fake email sent after a security breach.
The shutdown message wasn’t legit. Everything’s been secured now.

Yep, not a rebrand. Someone got into their system and sent that fake email.
