[Complaint] WaleHost refund promised but still waiting after a month

Hey folks,

Just wanted to share my recent (and very frustrating) experience with WaleHost. Maybe it saves someone else some headache.

  • Bought a VPS on Aug 25.
  • Within 4 days I asked for a refund. The box was unusable:

    • “10Gbps” advertised port, but I never got more than ~800Mbps.
    • Disk I/O was ~10MB/s (yeah, slower than a laptop HDD).
    • CPU constantly throttled, sometimes felt like 20% of what was promised.
  • Support admitted there were issues, added 5 free days, but I said no thanks — I just want my money back.

  • Sep 3 – they told me refund was “initiated” and should take 7–12 business days.
  • Sep 19 – still nothing, I chased them again. Got no response.
  • Sep 27 (today) – it’s been a full month since I asked. Still no refund. No proof they even tried.

I asked for the refund within 4 days, so well inside the EU 14-day cooling off period. They promised to process it, but here I am one month later, empty-handed.

At this point, I honestly don’t expect to see my money back unless I open a dispute. Just leaving this here so others know what to expect.

Has anyone else dealt with WaleHost and actually received a refund from them?

TL;DR: WaleHost promised a refund on Sep 3. Said 7–12 business days. It’s Sep 27 and still nothing.

  • Good good

  • Welcome to WaleHost (formerly EvosHosting), the ceo itself a is a kid running a hosting service under his parents company name, lies and promises nothing but just overselling! Seriously if you paid via Paypal just chargeback or if you paid via credit/debit card call your bank.

  • 🚨 SCAM WARNING
🚨 SCAM WARNING – NO RESPONSE AFTER CONFIRMED PAYMENT

⚠️ Potential scam / dishonest behavior report

I am reporting a serious suspicion of scam or dishonest behavior.

I made a payment using POL (Polygon network) in the amount of 4.89 EUR (≈ 51 POL) for an invoice.
The transaction is SUCCESSFUL and publicly confirmed on the blockchain, yet the service provider refuses to acknowledge the payment and has stopped responding.

    🔗 Transaction proof (PolygonScan):

    🎫 Open tickets (no response):

    ✅ Payment details:

    Network: Polygon (POL)

Amount sent: 51 POL (~4.89 EUR)

    Status: SUCCESS

    Transaction: Completed

Funds received by the destination wallet

    ❌ Issue:

    Invoice still marked as unpaid

    Service not activated

Support has stopped responding despite multiple official tickets

    Follow-up messages ignored

    ⚠️ Warning to others:
Do not send funds to this service unless they manually verify and confirm the transaction.
Always rely on on-chain confirmation (TXID), not only internal billing systems.

If this issue is not resolved, I will proceed with public reports and formal complaints.
