    From experience, we can tell you that storage prices are increasing... there is a very high demand for storage chips over the last few years (thanks AI), and prices aren't coming down quick enough.

    There's also the issue that, of course, storage disks need servers, and servers have a limited amount of disk bays. Servers are also not coming down in price, but rising...

    We've been slowly replacing older, smaller disks, for larger ones, such as 7.68TB disks, due to limited physical available space, but those disks are quite pricey; they are three times the price of a 3.84TB disk for just twice the capacity.

    And of course, these aren't consumer grade disks, which add up to the price...
