Established hosting provider with $15K revenuewithMonthly Profit: USD $722 /moAND
25% partial sale of their business for USD $16,500Does these numbers make any sense in any way?
Damn, there are many nice domains for sale on that website.
cryptoartist.com > perfect for Romanian DMCA free hosting.
chickenwindow.com > only USD $1,250,000 > because every server room needs one.
ComputerPrinter.com > USD $8,500 > the keyword every granny searches for.
bjsandwich.com > listed in the food and drink category. (link)
wifeslut.com > the perfect gift for your wife.
Even if what he said were all true -
Just think about the numbers. 8-year business, heavily advertised and attended, heavy infrastructure investment (compared to its size), niche client groups (charity and nonprofit), yet it's only making $722 per month, pre-tax, and it includes his own salary.
$722 is what you can get within one week by working only one shift at a local walmart or McDonalds (NV, United States where CharityHost is registered), or 2-3 days by driving a truck.
This is yet another evidence that hosting industry is one of the worst that one can think of getting into. If one already has an established business and infrastructure, that's probably fine. If you are new and think of starting a hosting business, think again.
Tbf there is plenty of providers on here earning liveable money. But yeah generally you're right. The market is saturated as fuck. But yeah some busniess owners tend to hang on to dogshit even if it makes no sense to continue
I would like to invest... where should I send my definitely non-pornographic material?
