Automatic Backups for OVH VPS
Can he disable it and refrain from performing backups?
Can the backed-up files be deleted?

    They provide single day snapshot for free, but only from whole VPS.

    The new VPS plans include one daily backup. It can not be disabled from the control panel, but I guess you can ask support to stop the backups by opening a ticket.

    You either restore the whole system from the backup or mount the backup and copy only the files you need.
