Best Payment Solution for Multiple Projects

vipulvipul Member

I have a paypal business account registered with name XXX Firm. I made it to receive payments from misc places like my ko-fi etc and avoid payers from seeing my actual name information.

Now I want to build some projects and was thinking how to integrate payments on them.
I want to have a different payment profile for each project if possible like:

when someone buys a product from project 1, it should say payment made to Project 1 [email protected]
and if someone subscribes to product 2, it should say subscription made to Project 2 - admin@project 2.com

Currently it would just say XXX Firm [email protected] for every payment

What possible alternative or workaround is there for it? How do people with multiple businesses do it?

  • Try to use payment gateway

Stripe lets you run multiple accounts for different businesses/websites, so each project can have its own descriptor and branding. But honestly, crypto is the best solution here and my personal favorite.

thank you I considered using stripe but it's currently invite only at my place sadly.
I will look into crypto but do u think less tech savvy folks will pay with crypto?

will you name some reliable ones?

And why would that be a problem if you do legitimate stuff? Just put a generic email if you don't want people to flood your personal email...

I thought it would look less professional and would confuse people since paypal sends a receipt for every payment and it would have a name different from the website they're buying from

It really depends on the country. In some regions crypto is already mainstream and widely used, while in others adoption is still slow, but from my experience around 80% of my customers already pay with crypto. Adoption is growing fast, even among less tech-savvy users.
