VPS for Email Hosting

Hello,

I am looking for a VPS provider who allows port 25 for email hosting. And to make things clear, it is not for spamming. I am looking to learn about setting up and manging a email server and I have few privacy concerns too.

I can verify myself via kyc too!

Now requirements: 1vCPU, 2GB RAM, 100GB Bandwidth, and some 10GB to 15GB storage. I am looking for a clean IPv4 (must) and good uptime as well. I will send max 10 to 20 emails a day.

Location does not matter but europe +1

And if everything works out fine for 3 to 4 months. I will shift mailboxes of few websites I am manging to this vps. But I will update the vps provider with all the details before.

Comments

  • I have a mail server with gigahost for quite a while now and don't have any issues with delivery in both locations (norway and ams).

Then what are you gonna use it for?

    Spoken like a true spammer.

Jokes aside, most vps blocks port 25 by default, but they would open it after you contact support and explain your need. Just talk to one of the providers from this forum and tell them your needs.

Almost all IPs from OVH are blacklisted, be careful.

I dont mind if price is upto 7USD to 10USD a month. I tried Fastmail and Startmail few days back. Both cost around 7USD a month. So if I can host a mail server it will lower my overall cost in long run.

    Hi Arthit,

Completely understand where you are coming from learning to run your own email server is a great initiative, especially with privacy in mind.

But here is the thing: from the hosting providers side, allowing Port 25 open by default is increasingly rare not because they assume everyone out to spam, but because the risks are high and the cost of managing clean IPs keeps going up. One careless user (or hacked VPS) can get a subnet blacklisted, and then everyone's deliverability suffers. And believe me, once you're on a spam list, getting delisted is no joke.

Instead of dealing with spam reports, IP blocks, or chasing down blacklists, we recommend to go with provider who have integration with reputable mail relay services like: MailChannels / Mail.baby / SMTP2GO

It’s the best of both worlds full control + no email headaches.

    Hi,

Melbicom can offer VPS with those specs:
    CPU 1 core
    RAM 2GB
    Storage 20GB
Bandwidth up to 1 Gbps, monthly quota 5TB
DC in multiple locations in EU.
    The price is €3.90 monhtly.

For the ports, you would need to contact the support in order to have them opened, along with account verification, but it is possible.

    Hi.

We can offer that, all our VPS have port 25 opened by default.
    https://alexhost.com/dedicated-servers/

We have many locations in our VPS, we allow mailing. We accept crypto payment and we don't require kyc with crypto.

We can change the IP only in the first 24h after you bought, just open a ticket support and request it.
