Oh just realized whoever owns the hosthatch account on here hasn't logged in since July 18th.
Oh dear.
I have servers with them in Stockholm, Sydney, Zurich and London and I have not had a single problem for many years, so I would not say that this is typical HostHatch.
That's very lucky for you. I also have a server that is trouble-free for years. But others are not so lucky. However, the whole point is not server problems--shit happens--it's the people problems. The support is terrible.
I'm not defending HostHatch in this case, I do not have all the facts so I'm not judging anyone but clearly there is a problem somewhere.
Someone asked if there were problems in other locations, and I simply answered that I personally have not experienced any problems with my servers in other locations.
seems they're hatching
The VPS server has been down for 20 days now, and customer service has only mechanically replied without any solution。@hosthatch
What was the response?
As of today, I haven't received a response yet. It has been 24 days since the outage, and I really admire this merchant
Unbelievable, even for a non-priority promotional product it shouldn't take this long. Please update here so we know what's happening next.
I'm sending them work orders now, but they haven't replied. It's really frustrating
Don't open a new ticket, just reply to the existing ticket asking if you need to provide anything else for them to solve the issue.
Same. I guess that’s the trade-off with the lower-priced version, though it’s hard when the budget is tight.
Sorry I have been away from LET in the past few weeks.
With all due respect, may I highly recommend not restoring snapshots from other locations (especially since the origin server of the snapshot was larger than the one it was being restored to, and more so because we have a warning on the snapshots page regarding this exact thing), on servers that are running "critical site operations" and then opening a ticket blaming "downtime" on the provider? You had all the tools to resolve this from our control panel directly - that is how unmanaged service works.
Our support is not great for promotional plans, but this one was not on us, sorry to say. It's unfortunate that the OP did not update the situation here either.
