Do not buy this shit. I did, and guess what happened? After setting up the first vps I've tried doing some simple wget benchmarks from different locations like Hetzner,OVH. Yes, wget! The server immediately got nullrouted and I received an email stating that my server is under DDoS with the following link: https://sprinthost.ru/docs/conditions.html#3.2 as an explanation.

I honestly though that maybe it was some kind of dirty IP from an old client. So I've deleted this vps and got a new one. Then I ran bench.sh... Immidiate nullroute, and now I can't create or even view current vps in their panel.

I've never seen anything like this. They advertise 10gbps ports, but simple wget from a 10gbps location at around 256MB/s triggers their crazy antiddos policy and that's it. Waste of money.

I'll wait to see what their answer to my ticket is, but I bet it'll be something similarly ridiculous.

    Same.

These companies have been on the market for many years and there have never been any problems. I do not know what you are really doing there, but it seems that something is wrong. for some reason, it always seems to me that all this negativity is based only on the country of this hosting.

Are you retarded or something? I'm also a client of just.hosting, the.hosting, ml.cloud and (was) of aeza. What the fuck this has to do with country of the host?? I'm not "doing anything" because I didn't even have the time, I got blocked running benchmarks. If you are that sure buy it yourself, run yabs, bench.sh and prove me wrong.

  • nuxutnuxut Member

They are completely ignoring my ticket btw for a few hours already, even though it says answer time is 30min.

  • nuxutnuxut Member

I guess I was wrong, they actually answered my ticket, they simply don't send out any email notifications when that happens.

    Here is the translated text:

    Hello!

We recorded 500 Mbit of incoming traffic first to one box, and then to the second. Due to this, we limited the network on the boxes.

Please clarify what exactly was launched on the boxes?

Reminder: these guys advertise 10gbps unmetered ports. But when you run bench.sh with 500mbps , it's enough to limit your network.

  • jenkkijenkki Member

@nuxut said: Reminder: these guys advertise 10gbps unmetered ports. But when you run bench.sh with 500mbps , it's enough to limit your network.

Did you tell them what you were doing, or did you immediately start to panic and become aggressive? The port's speed does not mean that it should be used to its full potential. This means that there are some sensors that are triggered in the case of abnormal traffic consumption for the system.

Why are you always victims of some kind of blocking? Maybe it's just abusers who want to squeeze out a million for a penny?

So first it's "doing something wrong" and attacks on Russian hosts, now bench.sh, wget and yabs are abuse? Do you ever get tired of yourself you pathetic troll?

  • nuxutnuxut Member

    Screenshot-20250705-192457-2.png

Now this is actually funny. They themselves now admit that 500Mbps is not a problem at all, but it's that they have other rules, which are not mentioned anywhere in the link they sent out when nullrouting the IPs. And yes, they have unblocked my account now.

Eat shit troll, so it turns out that there was no "abuse", "doing something wrong" and "squeezing" anything out of anywhere, it's simply that they've decided to block out new customers first and ask questions later. I still stick by my words: if they do this kind of shit because of measely 500mbps spike for a few seconds, you can bet there are other 'hidden' rules that you can unknownky trigger and be nullrouted.

  • jok123jok123 Member

I have tested sprintbox.ru and the advertised speed is much higher than what you actually receive because getting less than 1gbps on a 10gbps connection is crazy.
And no, I don't expect to receive the full bandwidth of the port, but at least 1gbps most of the time as with Aeza and hostiko.

There are some sensors that report abnormal traffic consumption for a certain amount of time, which doesn't matter what exactly you are doing, it's autopilot. There is no special person sitting there and does not control what exactly you are doing.

    @nuxut said: pathetic troll?
@nuxut said: Do not buy this shit.

You started your post with aggression and appeals. Instead of just talking about the problem, you start by calling for a boycott. Maybe you're the pathetic troll?

Then you give us a link to host that has nothing to do with the requested characteristics.

10Gbps does not mean that you will receive the full amount on your cheap VPS. This is a common link for connecting the data center to the network. This link is distributed to everyone depending on the download. But it's better than, for example, having a shared link of 1Gbps and distributing it to everyone. That means you'll end up with about 100 Mbps or even less.

The link is not allocated and is distributed among several clients.

I get it you are actually retarded. Who said that there is a "special person"? It's simply that no host have ever done this. Maybe if you run continious yabs in a loop for a day or two they will throttle you, but that was literally like 30 seconds before nullroute.

Then you give us a link to host that has nothing to do with the requested characteristics

You are slow. Just accept it. the only link I gave here was to sprinthost.ru, which is the one they sent me in the first email justifying the nullroute. It's was their idea to justify it that way, not mine, you retard.

  • jenkkijenkki Member

@nuxut said: You are slow. Just accept it.

LOL! What's it got to do with me? I have nothing to do with this company. I don't care.

You're just acting like a mudak. Who are constantly blocked for abusing. And who starts throwing tantrums for his two bucks. If you don't like it, pass it by.

I've never been blocked anywhere in my life except for this shitbox host. And if you don't care, you were the one who should've "passed by" instead of insinuating that I was *doing something wrong". Don't like to be called out for the retard that you are? Then don't comment on shit that you have nothing to do with except for your eternal desire to start something when it comes to Russian hosts(yes, I've seen your constant whining in other threads like this)

But I'm looking for a speed similar to what I get from other hosting providers with 10 Gbps ports because, as you yourself say, having a 1 Gbps port is better than having a 100 Mbps port, and the same applies to having a 10 Gbps port as a 1 Gbps port. That's why I'm looking for a hosting provider with at least a 5 Gbps port.

I mean, I can get almost 10 Gbps, but really depends on the speedtest server, doesn't seem like an outright scam, but them having a poor network.

Upload is still capped to 200 Mbps, there's some hidden line in their ToS that mention that.
