Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is designating Aeza Group, a bulletproof hosting (BPH) services provider, for its role in supporting cybercriminal activity targeting victims in the United States and around the world.

OFAC is also designating two affiliated companies and four individuals who are Aeza Group leaders. Finally, in coordination with the United Kingdom’s (UK) National Crime Agency (NCA), OFAC is designating an Aeza Group front company in the UK.

Today feels like a small victory. Even the US government has finally taken notice of these scumbags. In Russia, they still haven’t been shut down, even though I reported them to the police. The case was closed because there’s no law here against running hosting services that support malware.
But one big question remains: will Hetzner and Aurologic keep working with them?

I have been following them since 2019 when their first project MSKhost was hacked. That platform also hosted malware. What surprises me the most is their persistence they managed to build a rapidly growing hosting service but at the same time continued to create platforms specifically for hosting malicious software. On top of that they even launched a drug marketplace.
Why am I so angry at them Because when MSKhost was hacked I lost some extremely important data that was stored on their servers

First of all, AEZA is not an US company and has nothing to do with the United States. Why the hell are they imposing some kind of sanctions on a company located in other countries?

The goal is simple to stop the spread of malware through their underground hosting services.
To achieve that, sanctions were imposed on Aeza, and now everyone who provides them with servers in Europe should cease cooperation
FYI I don't care, I have nothing to do with this company and what will happen to them. It's just the logic and common sense that you lack.
