Switzerland Dedicated

Soda120Soda120 Member

Hi

I purchased a server with a Swiss IP from a website called serva.one.

Is it possible to take the IP addresses I got from there and use them somewhere else — with a provider that offers dedicated servers in Switzerland — and purchase a dedicated server using the IPs I got from serva?

    Which seller sells this range?

    91.221.232.0/24

Cant you just use it as a tunnel/proxy?

If I do this, will it still be using the CPU from the current VPS?

Because it’s really, really weak. I want to move it because of the relatively weak CPU and network performance.

The important thing for me is to keep the same IP address.

Did you try to ask Serva.one directly? As it seems, they lease the entire /24 and as such no other provider than them will be able to offer this range.

It might be worth to take a service with a provider in Switzerland where you can scale (from VPS to a Dedi or Colo), who has its own IP space (rather than leasing from a marketplace without guarantees) and as such can guarantee you to keep the IP you got?

Regarding Swiss providers, I can recommend @ruben :-)
