    It's unmetered, you can use 10G 24/7.

I would have to assign an IP address to the server to run yabs.
Which one do you need the yabs from?

    Hi,

    what exactly do you want/expect?

    2x 2697 v4 deliver 37k benchmarkpoints:

    https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E5-2697+v4+@+2.30GHz&cpuCount=2

that should be enough for a lot of workloads, definitely enough to feed the 10G.

You basically get the server in germany for free for 1/4 of a realistic pricing for a real 10G line.

But of course you should be careful for contract details like TOS and similar, maybe at best ask the provider if your $usecase is ok.

@AS203446 adding a real imprint wont be indeed bad to avoid issues with the medienanstalt or other providers who will send you an Abmahnung for the missing imprint or any other button who clearly communicates the identity of the company who gives the offer...

As far as I know he removed his imprint, because he got harrased by a few people. It's still not legal to remove it, dunno why it's still not back, looks bad.

In Germany it's basically required for any online transaction with a business. Not having one is a sign you're not a real business.

Also it's illegal to call it "imprint". Must be "impressum". No buts.

Seriously, don't you have anything better to do than constantly ask for an imprint?

Cheers! ;)

he's right though, if you're a commercial entity then you have a registered public address. A commercial entity that hides its address is sketchy. Of course individuals normally don't publish theirs.

  • why is it such problem to write company details and address on a website?

    I dont get it

are you a kid that registered business to his parents house or what??

I cant think of any other reason

His business is registered in the UK. He doesn't need an Imprint. This isn't Hitler times anymore, they can't say what happens outside their own territory.

Depends, if the main market of the seller is Germany, you still fall under "Impressumspflicht"

in this case, a dubious construction is chosen in order to conceal something. T
    this suspicion is overwhelming.

this is a dormant company, not any business done there.

are you sure this is the actual company you see on VAT-invoice you receive after making the payment?

FYI for those considering SMARTNET LIMITED's services:

SMARTNET LIMITED (AS203446) currently acts as an upstream provider for H2.nexus (AS215730). According to Qurium's analysis of the Doppelganger disinformation network, H2Nexus Ltd is identified as part of the Aeza network cluster which they described as a network of closely linked hosting companies in Russia and the UK, with H2Nexus being either a direct or hidden offshoot of Aeza.

Additionally, threat intelligence scanning shows that AS203446 has multiple downstream ASNs with detected malware/C2 infrastructure.

Interesting to see Optibounce in your downstream's.

Worth keeping in mind when evaluating your transit and server rental options.
