I lost my money , Digital-VM is a scam

I lost my money to Digital-VM.com—don’t make the same mistake! This is a one-man operation with no real customer support, tech team, or sales. They used to go by Virpus.com, scammed many people, then changed their name to Digital-VM.com to keep cheating others.

This is a shady, dishonest company. Stay away and don’t get tricked like I did!

I purchased two VPS servers from this company. One of them was shut down by them under a flimsy excuse. Thinking the service had expired, I renewed it for six months and messaged them to restore the service—but got no response. So, I filed a refund request through PayPal. At that point, this scam company, Digital-VM, threatened me, saying they would not only refuse the refund but also shut down my other server if I didn’t withdraw the PayPal claim.

  • My VPS server was still valid until the end of September this year, but they forcibly shut it down and deleted my account, including my login to their website. They even sent me threatening messages. This is a complete scam company.

  • Maybe you are the scam ?!

    I get a lot of regular spam from them with “mega sale” etc. bullshit. They are scammers.

    Lack of "flimsy excuse" details makes me side with provider.

    You didn't get tricked, you didn't get scammed, you likely did something wrong.

    New account, new discussion to bash a provider thay is probably unheard of

    Buying services even after knowing the shady background.

    Sure no red flags

    What could go wrong?

    Speaking of which, I have no idea who this host is, but they spam me with their "newsletter". I never signed up for this host or had any service with them. There's no simple unsubscribe link in the mails. So I had to ban them on my mail servers. Seems like some scum who have "acquired" a mailing database from some other host, or elsewhere.

    I had the same issue with their newsletter which I never signed up for.

    I ticketed them earlier this year and they advised;

    "Hello,

    We apologize for any confusion. To clarify, we transitioned from Virpus systems to Digital-VM systems.

    Regards,"

    Thanks. Sounds more familiar and is a possibility, but atm I don't have any record of using Virpus either. Usually keep account details stored indefinitely, but can't find any in this case.
