Looking for virtual card providers

josekjosek Member

I'm looking to buy domains/VPSs from places that only accept card payments (no PayPal, no crypto). Although I've gotten some offers from LET, I still tend to find large companies, and they don't accept crypto.

Do you have any recommendations for prepaid cards that are "crypto-friendly?" If you've had any real experience, it would be very helpful.

I was able to find some, such as:
paywithus, bit.store, ezzocard, pst

But I'm not sure if they "really" work only for US residents (I'm not from that country), or if I can use a VPN when making a purchase from providers I'm interested in: Name.com; Domene.si; OVH; Hetzner, etc.

Right now, I need to buy a ".si" domain from Domene.si, and I realized they don't accept crypto (I've never used "domene.si", and the domain will be for Torrent use, so I prefer not to use my paypal here.).

I use my personal card, but very little (recently with Amazon), but I prefer to avoid using it.

Thanks, LET.

I recall ClouDNS offers the 'si' ccTLD; you can top-up your account with crypto.

    Have a look at Redotpay.
Been using it for a few months now, great experience. You load crypto, and it auto converts it into fiat.

Given you already have PayPal, you can request a free PayPal Debit Card linked to your PayPal account.
The digital card number is displayed in PayPal app immediately.
It can be used everywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Paypal dont offer cards in india.
Here we can only withdraw money to bank, we cant even pay through paypal balance.
Which means we lose money in currency conversion charges while USD/EUR to INR when paypal sends us money in bank.
Then again if we need to pay someone using paypal, we can only do using card added in paypal, there also we loose money in currency conversion.

And PayPal have worst currency conversion charges.

So we loose like 3-4% in paypal gateway fees.
4-5% while withdrawing money to bank
Then again same 4-5% while paying using paypal..

I get 60€ of free gas per year with the Bing rewards. It's all lovely UN propaganda but it's worth it for some Nigerian gas. BTW has the UN dealt with their boko haram?

The bank that provides Pyypl virtual card issuance is located in the UAE. This site belongs to their distributors in Russia. Maybe there are some other local sites around here.

You keep suggesting things that are only for your particular countries. This service is basically for anyone regardless of country. That's the main difference.

    What's all this for?

I meant that all your Paypal card type offerings are not suitable for more than 90% percent of the world's population by restrictions. So there's no point in recommending them here. Many countries' Paypal accounts simply don't have this option. This option is only available in the US and few European countries. Can you understand that?

Thanks for reply. Before my post, I was looking into this option a lot, but it has several products/services that confused me.

    • I was able to see the "digital prepaid" cards, only for US residents and for use at merchants with a US address. (Accepts crypto and pays the amount indicated upon purchase, end.)
    • And the other is the "Bitrefill Visa card," not available for US residents (accepts crypto, 1.99% per reload)

Can I know your experience and which of the two you use?
Have you had experience purchasing from sites outside the US?. thx

Is it true that they require KYC, including a selfie? Or at least that's what their website says.
Their fees seem low, although they have many countries blacklisted, including the US (I'm not a resident, but I'm surprised it's on the list), and they don't make it clear whether or not they allow VPN use.
Can you tell us what you use it for? Have you ever bought domains or VPSs without any problems? (If this is private, I'll understand.)
    Thanks.

    Thank you,
It's true, their website says no KYC, which seems great to me, but some extra costs, and especially the blocking they say could happen, is something that puts me off a bit.
This is the information I found on their website:
    5% per reload
    $5 USD monthly maintenance fee
    $1 USD per successful transaction
    $0.5 USD per failed transaction
They will block your account if you don't pay maintenance fees
3-5 failed transactions could block your account

I'm glad to hear you had experience with this; it's something I was also looking for "personal experiences." Thanks.

PS: If anyone knows of any other experiences it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Well, yes, of course there are unpleasant moments. But it's very hard to find something like that.

Regarding blocking for failed transactions it is written that only the card is blocked. Funds can be withdrawn or a new card can be opened. The account itself is not blocked. This is most likely to prevent abuse.

yeah, I wish it also enable on mine ( + buy/sell BTC crypto ) even I already put my local bank details on it.
Been use MoneyBookers-now Skrill service's, around early 2000 ... no KYC at the time :* however seems: "They will block your account if you don't pay maintenance fees".
