Reliable and stable VPS in EU for Zabbix monitoring

Hi!

I'm currently looking for a VPS that is reliable and fast enough to host a Zabbix server. The goal is to monitor roughly 300 devices using a simple ICMP Ping probe at first and later use SNMP for the most important devices to get more in-depth monitoring of their behavior.

As said, I'm looking for a VPS that can handle this task at a provider that has proven to have good uptime and stability.

Currently I do monitoring of these devices self-hosted on-prem, but I want to move it to the cloud because of frequent on-prem outages.

It should be a European company, and so I already looked at for example the dedicated CPU VPS offering of Hetzner that looks to be a good option for me.

Thank you!

    Hi,

Melbicom has multiple EU locations and it is a European company.
Depending on your specs and budget, you can take a look here: http://melbicom.net/virtualserver/?utm_id=2025_BSTForum100

    Hi

We can offer you NVME VPS that are located in the USA, Romania, Moldova and London. Due to NVME, they will work quickly and reliably. I installed Zabbix on our Hourly Cloud and they worked stably, but our NVME VPS are more powerful, so everything should be fine. It would help a lot if you share what specs you roughly need.
Hard to make any recommendations or offers just based on a guess.

Netcup seems like a offering I would consider! How does it compare to a Hetzner Dedicated vCPU VPS? Pricing of the Netcup looks interesting and the dedicated resources speak to me!

I'm running Zabbix on a 2c4g VPS, monitoring ~40 VPSs using Zabbix Agents and the average CPU consumption is around ~6% so I doubt you'll need a particularly big VPS...but, having said that, this offer from a LeaseWeb, (Dutch company), reseller for a 4c6g VPS in Frankfurt or Amsterdam for $36/year is as good as it gets right now:
