Usually outgoing 587,465 blocked on Directadmin shared hosting?
i have a directadmin shared hosting package and i have mxroute subscription.
my wordpress SMTP plugin failed email test.
i went to shared hosting terminal: telnet mxSMTP 587 or 465 ... return Connection refused
i also tried telnet smtp.gmail.com 587 or 465 ... return Connection refused
so it means the provider side blocked outgoing mail ports?
is this usually the standard practice but why out of curiosity?
shouldn't they be more glad we using our own external SMTP instead?
