EPYC Basically Dedicated 16G, NEW FEATURE and more (RYZEN, XEON & MORE). Open Sourcing Software too!

We're back and ready to roll. Last time we came here, we posted offers which sold out faster than we anticipated, so you know we had to get restocking. This time, we've doubled our usual initial stock for LET users! (We also just changed over our Support system to a new one, you will get notifications as your tickets are migrated over!)
Notice: We do our best to keep pricing standard across all regions, however, Asia Pacific is significantly more expensive for us to operate compared to other regions, as such, all systems deployed in Auckland and Sydney are subject to an additional $3.00 per month fee, or equivalent quarterly fee. As this fee would be outside of the LET guidelines for maximum offer price, we are not listing it here but you can find it via our portal if that interests you!
Open Source Efforts: We're working on open sourcing a lot of our technology stack to the community, along with some new things to come! Take a look at the end of our post of information.

FAQ
Why didn't my order deploy?
If your order didn't automatically deploy, it means it was flagged by the system for manual review. We'll review it and get back to you, often times we will push it through unless it's hitting multiple indicators (eg, fraud).
What's this fraud thing?
If your order was blocked by our fraud checker, just open a ticket and inquire, our staff will look into it. We do not automatically review fraud-flagged orders, only when a ticket is created we will look into it.
I paid, why does it say it's not paid?
If you paid via Credit Card/Debit Card, and your order is not marked as paid but you see a transaction, that is simply a hold done by the payment processor -- we did not collect your money. Your bank will automatically release that hold, we can't expedite it -- this usually takes anywhere between 3 to 31 business days depending on who you bank with, the average seems to be 3 business days however. You can contact your bank for specifics on when a hold will get released. You should try your payment again, or another payment method (eg, PayPal or Crypto).
You have a new Support Portal?
Yes, we do! We made the decision to branch out of the default support engine provided by our billing software (WHMCS), which was fundamentally lacking key features we needed and migrated to using a third-party self-hosted solution. Tickets are being migrated over, and you'll see the new ticket creation interface next time you need our help!
What's in the pipeline for Terabit?
It's been a while since we gave you an update, here's what we have going on:
- We migrated our support system to a new platform as part of our ongoing software refresh.
- Asia is alive, we're focusing on Sydney currently.
- We're still in negotiations to POP in Miami.
- We're registering in DMCC in the UAE to commence UAE operations.
Open Source Efforts
We've been doing some massive updates to our technology stack and to provide more cost-friendly options to clients. In doing such, we built Veridian, our in-house modular backend engine, written in Go. If you're already a client, you've already interacted with the backend modules in Veridian. It's been running in production for a few months already.
We believe in sharing our stack to hosts and end-users to make the hosting ecosystem better. This is why we're working on open sourcing Veridian and it's modules.
Veridian is helping us solve problems, and build new solutions.
Current Modules:
Web Hosting Platform: No more cPanel, DirectAdmin or others, it's our in-house hosting platform, optimized for common applications such as WordPress, WHMCS, Blesta, Ghost and more. Everything is custom-built, we leverage containers and provide high availability (public beta coming soon!). We also built a pretty nice file manager interface too: https://imgur.com/a/file-manager-ui-JXD0N90 (yes, it'll be open source too).
Hosted MySQL and Hosted PostgreSQL Platform: As part of our Web Hosting Platform, we wanted to give clients a reliable environment for hosting their databases, so we've brought HostedSQL & HostedPSQL to life as modules. Tenant isolated, resource capping support and full monitoring and visibility integrated right into the portal.
VirtCommander and submodules: We've built a full Virtualization platform with support for Floating IPs, ephemeral storage, high availability and more "cloud" features you'd expect. The primary module (Hypervisor) utilizes Libvirt under the hood to handle KVM, but we also support Linux Containers and Docker containers running on the platform, all with one singular API to manage them.
MiniDHCP: In order to make sure Veridian can control everything it needs to, we built MiniDHCP, the tiny, RFC compliant DHCP daemon to hand out IPs to guests (KVM, Linux Containers, Docker instances). It's fast, performant, and consistent.
Quick DNS: This is our answer to DNS hosting solutions. We've built our own, fully compliant DNS server as a module within Veridian. It connects to our backend, providing real-time changes for your records.
Backups: Our solution to taking and providing client backups, designed to fit our flexible and dynamic environment. Responsible for snapshotting opted-in machines, or client-paid backups, providing restoration options, and offloading to our external backup storage cluster.
Veridian is joined with another, very critical piece of our new technology stack:
VRapidHTTPD: As part of our efforts to provide a solid, stable and reliable Web Hosting Platform, we designed a very rapid HTTPS engine, aptly named VRapidHTTPD/1.0. It's very fast, benching well over 500k RPS on older generation equipment.
Features:
- Edge Caching (configurable)
- Automatic SSL
- AnyEdge Support (point your A record to our anycast IP, get served from every POP)
- DDoS Attack? We know the feeling. One-click and you'll be able to enable and disable Under Attack Mode.
- Under Attack Mode: Choose from hCaptcha, Turnstile, or Proof of Work (default). Configure difficulty, change your Challenge Page, and even supply your own hCaptcha or Turnstile keys for full visibility and data control.
- Load Balancing: Automatic load balancing, health checking to remove bad and/or slow backends, and re-adding them once they are healthy again.
- Integration with L3 Mitigation: We automatically support bubbling up rules to an API system, such as the one we built for our edge DDoS mitigation engine. By pushing block rules upwards to our edge, providing further head room for VRapidHTTPD to run.
Yes, we are open sourcing VRapidHTTPD by the end of the year too.
If you'd like to give any of these solutions a try on our platform before they're in general availability (GA) status, send me a message!
Long Live The Rats.
Comments
Once again: TEAM RATS, ASSEMBLE!
6/66/ 6666 when @SilverCreek

I'll throw some more up now... one moment
edit: 30 more in stock now.
GLWS!
do u offer double the hug if i post the order number here
Best I can do is one personalized rat meme
GIVE THE LIRRR A HUG
Any discount for higher plans?
I am not getting the vibe personally here. For $5, it is very small.
Add 1 more dollar and one can get 2 core ryzen 9950x vds with 50 GB storage.
What am I missing here?
We can provide one if you open a ticket, shoot me a message here or message us on live chat, but we can't post it here as it would exceed LET pricing rules.
Our Standard VPS lineup is quite popular still. We aim for quality over quantity here
.
If you need more resources, our Basically Dedicated lineup with 200G of SSD NVMe storage and 16GB of memory at $10/month on sale is great
.
JUNEISHERE2025: only 4% discount
Err... try again? I'm seeing it as $4.00 off.
very interesting
@SilverCreek
In "Basically Dedicated 16GB" are the cores dedicated?
The cores are not fully dedicated. They have higher priorities, higher IO priorities and prioritized CPU utilization, but providing fully dedicated cores in virtualized environments gets messy quickly.
terabit is good, approved, GLWS
Open sourcing? I like the sound of that. The file manager looks great so far!
Any news on the panel you were writing to replace whmcs?
Invoice #109093
Your order has been flagged as potentially high risk and therefore it has been held for manual review.
Please review my order.
Any plans to offer dedicated but with 4 cores and 8GB RAM for $5?
It's officially nicknamed Waveline, and it's coming soon too.
Not at this time, sorry.
Open a ticket and we can take a look.
@SilverCreek
I already have a basically dedicated 8vcpu one and loving it, thinking of getting another one, would it be possible to have somewhat higher inbound network speed than 1 Gbit (in my NL instance)?
If you are in good standing account wise, you can open a ticket and our staff will review. No promises, but generally speaking we're very flexible.
@SilverCreek got my first terabit io vps/account around a month ago so will have to wait for speed increase ig
Any plans to offer similar discount for basically dedicated Ryzen 7900+ VPS like last time if it's fine asking (?)
If I already have "basically dedicated" vps's, can they be moved onto AMD-based nodes? (they're on xeon nodes at the moment)
You can always open a ticket, we're very flexible.
Yes, if you happen to get provisioned on one of the legacy nodes we can move you over.
