That sounds surprisingly low... depending where you're getting it from though i guess.
My Linux iso's tend to cap out my gbit connection even with just a handful of seeders.
Probably skill issues
chat how do we get this at home
Is Realdebrid any good?
I've just seen the replies from their support, which seem really unprofessional - then again what do you expect from a totally legal torrent downloading service.
Usenet can be pretty fast.

I'll throw in this backbone chart: https://cdn.rexum.space/usenet/14t2.svg
Pretty happy with Abavia as my daily driver (got a 6TB block = no recurring fees). Got three other, smaller blocks to get more backbones. Works great. If you want to pick one and don't mind subscription, smth like Eweka/NewsHosting (Omicron backbone). Getting max speed for my internet line.
Yes, it’s the best debrid service you can get. It supports WebDAV, direct streaming, integrates well with streaming apps, add-ons, and whatnot. For about €2.5/month, it is absolutely worth it. The UI is shit, but you can self-host something like debridmediamanager and solve that problem. They advertise unlimited storage, but that’s not accurate IME. After 2TB, it starts showing errors, and once you clear up some space, new torrents can be downloaded. Support, that’s almost nonexistent unless it’s for account-related issues. Never had to contact support in my 6-7 years of usage anyway.
Okay I'm testing a debrid @TorBox https://torbox.app, it's pretty amazing so far.
And the lovely @Umcookies is helping me setup a private tracker which is great.
Thanks
Lazy fuck don't want to seed complain about speeds. You can reach even 200Gbps in mainstream private trackers
Legal ISOs aren't hosted on Usenet. Debrid sites or seedboxes.
200Gbps is impressive but pointless for a gigabit bottleneck link at home.
I switched to Usenet. Except for one time, it maxes out my gigabit download. With torrent plus VPN, it's never higher than 350Mbps and typically half that.
Usenet is still the best if you have a good indexer, especially the one that should not be named
To get started, AH is a great bang for the buck for the 20$ lifetime. Or so I am told..by a friend
So many mentions of this "one that must not be named" you've got me awfully curious aha.
damn, I must be old. Read it as RECTUM.SPACE
easynews if you really want to download TBs of traffic per month, they never had a problem when i downloaded dozens of TB per month.
real-debrid.com best bang for your buck. Pair it with stremio + torrentio addon.
I only download legal torrents with the permission of the rights holders
idk why people complain about torrent speeds over usenet... I have downloaded the exact same legit iso file, with intentionally modified extension name, but which was a true real ISO, with close to 1Gbps via torrent.
Not old, gay.
That depends on the popularity and the location of seeders (varies a lot). Usenet mostly doesn't.
i have used eweka.nl, you might get it 3.33 euro monthly. it was amazing for me. but depends on your location.
There sometimes is even a 2,50€/mo deal for eweka. Regarding location, Eweka supposedly works better for EU customers, NewsHosting for US (due to their servers locations). Both are Omicron
EWEKA is another backbone, Omicron owns 3 backbones: Base-IP, EWEKA, Highwinds. If you want cheap just take the Newshosting or Easynews it's 1,99 including free PrivadoVPN it's the Highwinds Backbone they have US & EU servers so speeds are good for all
