  • But your 64.31.xx.xx cannot be used by customers, so what is your Los Angeles IP?

@Fyzzp0o0 the IP quoted in our post is a test IP, allowing customers to test the routing and latency. It's not the IP you will get when you place an order.

This is an industry-standard practice. If you look at other ads here on LET with a test IP, and ask for that particular IP, you won't be given that exact IP - and it's also unlikely you will get an IP in that exact range.

In any case, we are communicating via ticket so I'm not sure why there is a need to post these messages here, especially when I offered to provide you with a full refund, which you have not replied back to as of yet.

There's no "cheating" going on here. I explained exactly how test IPs work already.

In any case, a full refund has been issued per your agreement in the ticket :)

I wish you all the best of luck with your future hosts.

    Have a great day!

Edit: For those who may be reading this, it seems the OP decided to edit their posts to remove their rather ridiculous argument, which says all there is to say :)

I don't think this is the so-called "industry standard". As a consumer, I only see that the IP you assign is very different from your test IP, so I can't accept this.

If you like the two pictures I just took, I can send them to you again.

We can agree to disagree what test IPs are - that's not a problem. I don't think there's anything productive to be achieved by spamming our LET thread any further. If you have any further questions, feel free to DM me :)

No, don't be so self-righteous, we didn't reach an agreement

I don't want to reply to your message anymore, stop it

I withdrew the pictures I sent just because I don't want your IP to be exposed in the forum and attacked, that's all.

    How different?
If test IP and assigned IP are announced from same ASN and have comparable latency, it should be acceptable.

I think the test address for LA is good. Here's a ping to it from my vps (with a very different IP but who cares):

Resource management for our new KVM offering (after years of being an OpenVZ shop) has been a learning curve. For example, take our first KVM offer - the disk space allocation has been increased since then - for no added cost.

I have some thoughts for future LET offers, so I'd say keep an eye out for our future LET threads. Any changes will be available to everyone - both new and existing customers - also at no extra cost :)

There are, however, no immediate plans for anything cheaper, but never say never.
