Skhron Review 2025 Cheap Vps Sweden SEO keywords etc
Hello nerds,
I got a very decent VPS from Skhron
You might have seen me respond to anything @tentor posted for like a year with something like "$2 pls", this server is him finally caving to my very resonable demands
To be very fair, he asked for a review in return, but, I got to keep the VM at current pricing no matter if the review is good or bad (I wouldn't have accepted anything else)
And, to be even more fair, I got this server in April, and I asked if he wanted me to post some initial impressions or something a little bit more extensive sometime later, and he said that a week would be fair, and here I am and it's almost June, and he has yet to remind me to post this review
Although, Apple Reminders have been going on and on and on about it so just like @tentor - I'm finally caving into the pressure
Honestly, I have no complaints at all. I haven't noticed any downtime even though I've used it quite a lot. It's not running anything publicly facing, but since I love the direct SSH key response (due to the low latency) it's my goto server for running Python scripts overnight and stuff like that
I did some experiments in regards to domain snap backing, and had to code something up to query Free as fast as possible (http://free.iis.se). This is the server I got with the lowest latency to IIS so it found its use-case almost right away
In summary, very pleased with the server and its performance and uptime, as well as with the "exotic" location that I think is Obenet in Kista. I have always enjoyed my little discussions with @tentor and I think it's fair to say that he's a smart guy running a tight ship. Skhron is one of several providers on here that tend to go under the radar somewhat, probably because it hasen't been involved in enough drama, which, of course, is a good sign
I won't do a deep dive with benchmarks etc because quite frankly, I find them boring and I don't think they really say a lot about the provider. It's a VPS, resources are virtual and they will differ over time, however, I'll of course post a YABS

[ RESERVED BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT @FAT32 WOULD DO AND IT LOOKS PROFESSIONAL ]
yes this was the one negative, I had to manually disable bloatware (ipv6)
@tentor was going to be my next vps to try because I just like the dude and he seems nice, glad to see it's been going great.
Don't let all the yoursunnies see that.
You may have part of my idler.sh bash script for when you do:
and people will hate me for this but just because I have had problems with this in the past and really want to be sure:
calling ipv6 police rn
@yoursunny
see my comment above it'll trigger them and the init freedom movement all at once
my @crunchbits dedi is better but this is cool i guess
I don't understand how this is related to ipv6?
IPv6 sucks ass, and thats a fact.
oh sorry that's part of another thing, my idler.sh is quite big
and I have not refactored it properly
I think that's something I did to optimize for MongoDB lmao
@Penguin 's crankbis shiny legendary is better than your dedi
if we're doing a cock measuring contest better bring @Smigit
That's a beast for that price @emgh, lucky guy. And in retun you didn't post a review like forever.
@tentor good luck with the business, Poland location looks nice also. Interesting name choice btw.
so where's my deal?
@tentor 2/yr??
🥺
Skhron will have something interesting this summer, but $2/year stuff is not something I can giveaway easily, reguards
Very reasonable price sir.
Those pesky providers have too much cash on hand.
I heard they can even pay bills, afford food and other luxuries.
Where $2/yr deals???
/s
I am OK with 3$ / year also, I don't want anyone deadpooling.
Or you can just give @emgh's server to me.
Sir, it is zero steal zone
Think it as I am borrowing it from him, indefinitely
Nice, would love to give a try at these two location.
Thanks for your feedback. We have escalated your ticket to @emgh, please proceed in LET DM.
Jokes aside, looking forward for some LET deals (that is sustainable)
I have no idea why I'm actually exciting for the upcoming sale given I already have this deal
Transfer it to me, so you can be first timer again.
250 bucks and a coke would go a long way just saying
I see you decreased your price of 22k crypto veggie coins.
ok i m $4
