Search Engines And Information Habits
It's fascinating to observe how deeply ingrained search engines have become in our daily routines. For almost any question that pops into my head, big or small, or any piece of information I need to find, my immediate reflex is to type it into a search bar. I was trying to recall what it was like to find answers before this instant access became the norm.
While the power and convenience are undeniable, I sometimes wonder how it has subtly shaped my own learning process or even how I retain information. Knowing an answer is always just a few keystrokes away is incredibly efficient, but does it change how we internalize knowledge or our patience for seeking information through other means? I'm curious about your experiences. How do you feel readily available search has impacted the way you find things out or solve problems?
