That's what @CharityHost_org said
PI hours of downtime is shorter ;-)
and then terminated poor guy's account LMAO
Or he can start a subscription business for sharing that info. Admin here will be happy considering there's a provider fee.
Can somebody ask ĥ̶̩̘̠͔̩̓͜ḁ̷̢̢̥̼̺͕̰̲͉̄͌̊̇̿͂c̷̹̗̻̮̦̰̾͛̌͌͝k̴̞̤͇̬̽͐͋̑̕̕͠ę̷̛͚͍̜̬̜̭͚̏̃͑̔̃͑̓̄͊͒͒͋̓͆r̸̡̡͍̼͇̭̘̺͓̍͒̿̏̏̐̃̈́͑̚͝ŝ̴͍͔̝̯̖̭͛̄̔ if they are @tinyweasel? If yes then please say hi from me.
This is a big weasel.
i take this as a no
That's what I thought, otherwise he would probably insult @Francisco and write something about IRC.
Edit: Can you ask them how old they are? How many people were involved in the hack and what country they are from?
You have something against IRC? I don't think people have something against IRC in general, especially considering IRC is not that popular nowadays. IRC was great in my opinion, but people prefer sharing their lives through social media.
I thought they were using Telegram, not Tinder.
Yes, what I have against IRC is that there is not much going on on LowEndIRC and no one gives special $7 offers for IRC users.
Unfortunately people have no idea about the privacy IRC can provide. They would rather trust some social media giant. But nobody can blame them.
Back on topic: we need refugee offers, not just because of IRC, but because many will need new homes for their data.
It's not a big tragedy, CC didn't support IPv6 anyway. Thanks to CC and hackers users can now also test their DRP.
I'm a bit undecided on what to do.
I got a VPS at ChicagoVPS but hosted in ColoCloud infrastructures.
all choices are rought :
- cancel the ChicagoVPS offer (but when will it be really deleted ?)
- wait the upcoming (tombstone reanimation) and rotate all password and keys
- subscribe another offer but with the same price conditioins it wouldn't be easy to find...
Ant advice, thought ?
More like trysexual
IRC was life back in the day
I still use IRC to download ISOs
I think it's time to say goodbye to this one
what's the font
And down again in Dublin
I own multiple VPS instances on ColoCrossing, which are solely used as proxy servers for bypassing geo-restrictions. No critical data is stored on them. However, this incident has still impacted my user experience. I would genuinely appreciate it if ColoCrossing could offer a 1-year service extension free of charge as compensation, and such a gesture would certainly reinforce my loyalty to your platform.
assuming they won't close down after this incident
Same on my end. RIP to my game server and my wedding website
Dublin just came back 8 min ago
what incident, have they acknowledged this is a thing yet?
Fortunately I only use this service as a reverse proxy.
And as hyun, the only drawback is that I'm currently setting up new ones with Pulsar67.
They offer 20% discount with promocode LowEndTalk !
In light of this recent event I've decided to do some free graphic design work for Colocrossing to help update the public website - they're welcome to use this for free!
that’s such cunty diva behavior
According to disclosed data, ColoCrossing operates only 13,379 VPS units. Is their VPS business not as large as expected? At the standard $15/year pricing, this translates to merely $200,000 in annual revenue - a scale that appears disproportionate to ColoCrossing's standing as a professional IDC service provider.
