Hi all, I'm just a simple hobby-ist, what tools do you use to get alerts on your phone, or perhaps even see logs from your server?
Thanks!

Like telegram bots or what
ntfy for sure
Discord and pushover
pushover & email are my primary methods, been playing around with discord webhooks recently but still prefer pushover for the flexibility it has

I use ntfy.sh too. very reliable.
pushover
Do you self host it?
What about for logs, does anyone use any mobile tools to see their logs from their phone?
Thank you all for your responses
Telegram 👍
Pushover if I want general alerts.
Seq (free single user self hosted < 50gb logs) for logging + forwarding errors to either discord or slack depending on the project for mobile error alerts
i log in txt file is it bad
Dozzle for containers.
Webmin or Cockpit for server management.
I've just deployed ntfy on a 1c1g VPS and it's really nice. I hadn't heard of it before, but it was easy to setup, (about 15 mins to deploy and get it working), so thanks to all who suggested it!
Yes.. Hosted on my Multi-Purpose hongkong vps.
NTFY is extremely easy to setup and quite impressive on capabilities.
This:
Telegram bots are very easy to develop and can be hosted on the smallest VPSes or shared hosting packages.
You can send any text / files, including logs.
Text can be formatted as monospace, but whether it's convenient to browse through the long chunks on your phone is up to you.

Gotify & Telegram
This is, basically, a one-liner. You register a bot, say hello to it, then
You don't need to worry about whether port 25 is open like with email, and you don't need to install any libraries, etc.
Self hosted Ntfy.
Telegram.
I've used Pushover for many many years. Have it used in many of my custom scripts that run monitoring, it's never failed me. I use Discord webhooks as a secondary/backup option.
Teachers let us publish lecture notes on the website.
When the website is offline, classmates will knock on our door.
If we don't wake up, roommates will pull us off the bed.
Yeap. Can make a simple bot for that.
I think I will email-everything.
Let's get back to the old day. Communicating via email.
