KnownHost Dedicated Server for Transfer - $25

edoarudo5edoarudo5 Member
edited May 2025 in Service Transfers

Hello everyone,

Planning on reducing my monthly costs for idling servers so I'm letting go of this Black Friday deal from KnownHost I grabbed years ago:

DirectAdmin Legacy License Included for the life of the server (licensed to the primary public IP of the server)
Server Management: Unmanaged Server
CPU Dual Intel Xeon E5645 @ 2.4GHz (12 Cores + HT)
Memory (RAM) 32GB DDR3 ECC
Drive 1 240GB Enterprise SSD
Monthly Bandwidth 10TB
Port Speed 1 Gbps
Datacenter Location Atlanta, GA
Includes 5 Public IP Addresses
Includes 1 /64 IPv6 Subnet
Even though this is an unmanaged server. I had no problems getting help from the KnownHost support reps.
Includes Supermicro IPMI Web Control Panel (it's old but it works)
Monthly renewal amount is $25

Looking for $25 through Paypal (friends and family) or Zelle if you're in the US. Comment here or DM me if you're interested.

Edit:

You need to have an existing KnownHost account in order for me to transfer you this server.

Man that thing is a dinosaur now. A $140 mini PC with a N150 10w cpu is faster.

Yeah looked up geekbench score for the hell of it.
    https://browser.geekbench.com/processors/intel-xeon-e5645
Unless you have a workload that doesn't require a lot of processing power and needs a lot of threads, go for a VDS. Or even than a VPS would be faster with fair share....

I have another server for transfer:

    Intel Xeon E5-1620v2
    32GB DDR3 ECC 1133MHz
2x 2To HDD Soft RAID (but have 4 x 2 HDD on my server instead)

Renewal Price is 16.49 Euros under my account

Can be transferred only to Kimsufi FR accounts.

Asking for $20 for this. Paypal friends and family only or Zelle.

If you can login here then the server can be transferred to your account.

  • Kimsufi server from FR Kimsufi account transferred to @rdes

I have another Kimsufi server available but this time from a US Kimsufi account. Specs are:

    KS-LE Server
    Intel Xeon E5-1620v2
    32GB DDR3 ECC 1133MHz
    2x 2To HDD Soft RAID

Will post YABS later and disk age. I think this one has a higher port speed than normal. The other server that was transferred had twice the storage than normal.

  • So this one has a 1 Gbit downlink speed instead of the normal 100 Mbps

  • If it’s a USA OVH account I don’t think they support transfers. Check with their support.

  • I stand corrected. It's actually a CA Kimsufi account so transfers are only possible in that Kimsufi region. Not possible to transfer to an OVH/OVHCloud account.

  • Interested in the KnownHost server but sadly I do not have a KnownHost account lol

  • Just an update here: the Knownhost servers are not available anymore.
