Hello everyone, have you applied for Oracle Cloud's server? What do you think of Oracle Cloud?

    I'm using for 4 years.
It's free, and the CPU is quite decent fast. So no complain at all :)

going great for me as a dev server

  • good enough for random testing of bullshit, not reliable enough to put data you care about on them. seriously back up your data elsewhere regularly if using this, but, it is more than usable for free just have a backup plan for when they may purge your data

    Thanks for the reminder, bro.

It's great for me to run docker images on such a big RAM machine!

  • Connectivity only <100Mbps not 4Gbps?

  • I can't have one, it's to hard for me to have one account.

  • ljsealsljseals Member

I have an account but they don't seem to allow lost password algorithms on cell phones. Interested, really appreciative.

arm should be at least 1gbit/s on wan, full speed on LAN. amd is 50mbit/s on WAN, 500mbit/s on LAN. I don't have an arm instance right now, but i had it for a few years and the network in sweden was good.

Do not talk about this. Do not mention oracle at all. Especially free tier. Do not fck this up.

This instance is provisioned sub-optimally. The default VPU config gives you pathetic IO bandwidth. You need to drag the VPU slider all the way to the right to improve the io bandwith to ~200MB/s
