a nightmare saturday with Oneprovider
I would like to share my bad experience with "Oneprovider"
I had a server with them for over 2 years,
they suspended my server without any prior notice or chance to know the reason
I have a directadmin with over 50 domains
the supposed infringing domain was a famous script "URLSHORTNER"
it was a shortened link that made HEADER 301/301.
the infringing content was not even on my server.
I just wish I could have been notified to remove the infringing link that made header 301
- server suspended immediately
- put RescueCD mode by oneprovider.
- they demanded that the server be completely reinstalled.
- it took them over 24 hours to give me the RescueCD password for waiting time to answer a ticket, all this time with the server down, without support, completely without anything to do.
was I very unlucky? or is it a bad company?
I am sad and exhausted, I do not recommend this situation to anyone

don't host anything with user generated content with a reseller (which is what oneprovider is). response times are slow because the actual server owner suspended the system, and then oneprovider is passing your messages back and forth to the actual infrastructure provider.
Data matters.
Have you got backup?
@Dyingcat
There was everything hosted.
among others.
They forced me to copy the data using a very old rescueCD.
It took them 24 hours to respond to a ticket asking what the password for the RescueCD was?
You are absolutely right, unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way
If you want to be with providers that own their infrastructure and are generally staffed by human beings that you can talk to, I'd recommend most of the providers in my signature.
Special shoutout to @servarica_hani, @gigahost, @ZachNuyek, all of them would be a perfectly fine home if you decide to move.
Stopped trusting them after they started spoofing their locations, and kept lying to my tickets.
that is a tough situation, all in all those guys over were always good to us when we had some servers. Probably just a one off, hopefully it all gets smoothed out.
What locations do they spoof? I assume all the interesting ones.
yep resellers for prod is not good. There are plenty of great providers that you can migrate to.
Morocco at least. The rest I'm not entirely sure since no one has servers there that I can use as probe.
I think the cloud stuff is under their own ASN now

can probably check there what's real or not.
