openpanel has anyone tried it?
I came across this free web panel https://openpanel.com/ , I'm wondering if anyone has it installed and is it worth anything?

i think @CharityHost_org tried it. maybe you can ask him?
Looks good to me.
Will love to give it a try.
I am reading each customers container runs it's own docker in openpanel?
That is pretty neat, does any of the other free panels also have a way to isolate customers in docker or some alternative method?
The website hurt my VGA as usual.
I'm wondering if anyone has this panel installed?
It's better for you to try the panel.
There are many providers that offer ridiculous plans for pennies.
This way you can see if the panel fits what you're looking for.
Just tested it, out of the box its buggy. uploading .php files the file names somehow get screwed up. Along with it really not working, at least out of the box when compared to other free panels.
What OS did you use?
It's worth to try it.
Isolated environment dor each user and also Isolated configuration for each website for the single user beside CSF firewall to custom access to your websites.
It's really worth it and for free.
I hope they'll continue with support and updates as it's a growing project also hope they'll add soon custom modulation with other billing systems.
They should provide a trial or demo - 14.95 EU for the license.

The demo is mentioned on their main page, that is the link.
As for the license, it didn't require me to have one when running it...
I don't think it's very clear about what differences the free version has vs the paid version.
Hi ! The best its WHMCS, no comment.
Ah! Good to know that they have a demo.
WHMCS is no doubt a good platform.
It's interface is clean, lightweight and good to start as a free control panel
Sorry for the late reply. Ubuntu 24.04
It is probably fine for a small blog and or personal website.
However, there is next to no documentation online for this. Works if it works and if it doesn't, then what?
I read somewhere that it's still in Beta.
I don't recommend it for production at all, only for testing & small-scale business.
Though I personally find it promising, but right now it still needs a lot of testing. I bought the enterprise edition to test things out, yeah, a lot of things need to be resolved.
You can check their GitHub issues, I also posted some issues that need to be checked & fixed.
They have a support forum here:
