I need a webhosting with DNS hosting (probably directadmin)
This is for a IP database website so I also need tones of DNS records (<1000). Any offers?
I know I can use platform like cloudflare but they limit 200 record currently.

he.net allowed like 10k records for free.
I don't see a reason why our PowerDNS setup couldn't handle it, unless DA is going to freak out about managing that many records.

@SmokyHosts Wow, $9.99 per year for 100GB sounds like a great offer. I’m migrating from myw.pt and I'm looking for something. Is there any limit on the number of domains? I’ve seen another offer, similar to this one, from you where hosting was limited to one domain.
@nameserver I can’t recommend NameCrane as a web hosting provider. I had ongoing issues with FTP access, and after a few back-and-forth messages, their support told me it’s “my problem” and just closed the ticket without solving anything. I bought a reseller hosting plan a while ago to migrate from myw.pt, and finally got around to starting the migration this week, but I have problem with getting banned after connecting via FTP. Support didn’t help at all and just shut the ticket down. Pretty disappointing. To be fair, I’ve been using their email hosting for a few months now and it’s been working great, but I can't say that about webhosting.

You have 2 different providers with FTP issues, it can't always be Fran's fault here.
If you have a ticket, i'll take a look, but the fact you have another provider with similar issues....

What are you talking about? It's always Fran's fault for providing good service + quick support + reasonably priced. It's just I am concerned about my two little boxes with a company Fran used to own...

I do have namecrane mail service and the last ticket I had had the respond time less than 5 min which is REALLY REALLY not expected

So this is not a recurring FTP issue across providers, it's only happening with NameCrane, and their support wasn’t helpful for me.

Maybe its imunify360? Not sure if it covers FTP too, but its highly annoying for websites. But its not limited to namecrane when googling all the problems people have with it with every provider that uses it.
It might be Imunify360, I was also looking for a solution. I spenmt most of the time trying to figure out what could be wrong with my network, as the support suggested, and during that process I came across information that Imunify360 could be the issue. Apparently, it can drop connections without clearly blacklisting the IP. That was actually going to be my next suggestion, but the ticket got closed before I could bring it up.
@Francisco Thanks, but I already bought hosting from HostBrr. I’ve had a storage box with them for a while, and today I found out they also offer web hosting, so I went with that. I still have email hosting and about 10 months left on the plan, so maybe I’ll come back to you at some point.
