I think gcore + cdn77 both scrub in APAC, you generally need stupid amounts of bandwidth to pull it off though.
Good luck getting affordable DDoS Protection in APAC.
Best analogy ever thx.
didn't you have a hong kong POP? might be worth throwing out an offer.
We were planning to open a PoP in HK but multiple carriers cancelled the IP transit contract because they noticed we offer DDoS mitigation.
Latency from India would still be pretty high. GRE is only a temporary solution in my opinion. Anything over a few Gbps average traffic should not be running via GRE.
@AS203446 sent you PM.
Stormwall
@allthemtings great news don't miss

Who cancelled? I think you were going to use PCCW, RETN, and NTT, and NTT + PCCW have historically been pretty ok with mitigation.
I'm interested in knowing too.
The main problem is China, and you will not get any routes to China unless you pay big bucks to PCCW, and NTT's peering with China is forever congested.
I'm guessing maybe he went with a tier 2 provider like nearoute.
Just blackhole/nullroute IP address of VPS which is being attacked, then block the client's account due to a violation of the usage terms, if a drama start, remember to be aggressive.
That's why we cancelled Spartan $16/year.

saw them being used in APAC (Indonesia specifically)
nearest PoP from India is in Singapore/Hong Kong tho.
I have been with Evolution host for around 5 years now, and they've never let me down. Solid DDoS protection for game servers, and their support team is actually responsive when you need them.
My experience with Evolution-Host's VPS has been consistently positive. The servers have demonstrated excellent uptime, which is crucial for any online presence.
If you are tired of your current provider then i will highly recommend Evolution Host to you because i was also facing issues with my old providers and now i can sleep without getting worried about the down times and their issues.
I would recommend that for you.

You have a total of 5 posts, and 4 of them praise Evolution Host. Sounds like you're really happy with their service!
ban him
I recommend it to you: https://ddos-guard.net/
Evolution is great, other than the /112.
Bob has 5 posts, 4 of them praise this host.
Bob never interact with anyone else in the forum.
Be like BOB.
I would suggest checking out if GCore is something that would satisfy your needs
They do have Mumbai as one of their location in India.
I'm not a marketing expert but this post It's pure embarrassment.
It's like being the boss of Microsoft asking how to run a company in a forum. You can't just ask something like that as a boss. First google it, then make a few phone calls
Thanks for advice
and showing that you are smart
good luck in your work. i hope you are 100% smart there and using google correctly for everything else without asking for advice from anyone community.
BTW your advice doesnt help at all, you are just here to criticize
But to everyone else,
Thank you, we are thankful for your help which you have given here, all the discussion you did here are helpful. yesterday i had taken service from Evolution Host
But to make it work, they need us to update "remarks" entry on the inetnum which is harder for us in india, because most of ips are from IRINN and they are shit on support side, they do not allow us to update directly like its possible in APNIC, ARIN etc.
So this one didn't worked for us. We are in discussion with multiple provider as well which are present in Mumbai, India. so we do not face latency issue.
Not sure how helpful this is but I believe OVH has an Indian datacenter with anti-DDOS protection.
It's not the first time the owner of a hosting provider has asked for help with mitigating ddos attacks.
This is unfortunate, but it's almost always necessary to update inetnum or route objects, before you can authorize another ASN to announce your IPs or become your upstream.
Not specifically in Asia, but we do see a lot of customers from Türkiye doing this, when they are under attack, they re-route that specific prefix through a remote mitigation stack (us in this case) until the attack finishes.
