Looking for Low-Cost or Free Hosting Panel with Per-User CPU/RAM Limits and GUI Usage View

Hi all,

I'm a web designer and currently host my clients' websites on my own dedicated server running HestiaCP. While HestiaCP allows setting CPU and RAM limits per user, it lacks a GUI for users to view their own resource usage, which is becoming an issue for me.

I'm looking for a free or low-cost web hosting control panel that meets the following criteria:

  • Can handle multiple user accounts (like shared hosting)
  • Supports per-user CPU/RAM limits (not just PHP memory)
  • Provides a GUI for users to see their own resource usage
  • Includes or supports malware scanning

I already know about cPanel and DirectAdmin — both are great but too expensive for my case. I'm also aware of Webuzo, but $25/month for unlimited domains is still more than I'd like to spend.

I'm looking for something affordable and practical. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Try CyberPanel, it’s free, supports multiple users, shows basic resource usage, and includes free malware scanning. ISPConfig is also good but harder to set up. CloudPanel looks nice but has limited user control. CyberPanel is likely your best free option.

For a cheaper paid option, you can try Webuzo or DirectAdmin, both are more affordable than cPanel and offer good features for multi-user hosting.

I would second on DirectAdmin, a cheaper, much more matured option which offers per user limit settings option

Enhance is much better choice for cheap and great solution, viable alternative solution for free are hestiacp and virtualmin.
