CharityHost attempts to censor documentation of his actions on Host.charity

in Providers
I am a webmaster over at Host.charity, and as of today, CharityHost has already attempted to censor our website.
If he did nothing wrong, why is he so desperate to silence any documentation of his actions? We explain the dismissal of his claim in our latest update.

LOL
Good thing you aren't using web.archive.org, as he could take it down from there.
Yep, I actually used archive.org at first, but an astute reader noticed this and warned me early on. I'm glad I made the switch. Archive.today saves things better anyhow.
They ignore "abuse" emails, they only take down obviously illegal stuff like CP.
Run a network of proxies for crawling and reverse-proxies, along with dozens of domains. Designed for resilience.
Despite looking like it based on captcha, they don't use Cloudflare.
It's everything the Internet Archive was supposed to be.
What's the odds he actually read title 28 us code 4101? If it's a statement of fact, it's not defamatory.
Especially given that the first 2/3 of the website is just screenshots of things HE said on his own profile. If anything, he's defaming himself
Copied from the site update:
"Host.charity is committed to a factual presentation and dissection of this scandal. As the claims on this website are based on CharityHost's own words and actions, not opinions, and they are supported by evidence, which is clearly cited and archived, CharityHost's claims of defamation do not hold up to scrutiny."
it just keeps getting worse and worse ππ
This is great! Shoutouts to Incognet.

βOur recent experience in a forum is regrettable. In the face of continued ridicule, attacks and malicious guidance, we tried to promote civilized communication by posting a video, but we were banned for this.
At the same time, those who initiated provocations and created disputes are still tolerated by the platform.β
Playing the victim on NodeSeek lol.
Edit: This will be Exhibit C.
Just host your website with a EU based provider, LOL. We dont care about US laws. Team America has no powers here mate.
Surely the EU has defamation laws that bad actors can take out of context. Many hosting providers would sooner terminate a customer's service to avoid hassles with cases like these, than go to bat for them. Can you recommend a good EU provider with the same ethic as IncogNET?
This situation keeps getting better β unfortunately, not in their (CharityHost) favor..
His problem was he didn't post any of the pron he copied.
@ServerBachelor you picked the perfect host for the job. That was really smart of you.
@ISP @MannDude your actions and support is commendable, and thanks for not snooping on our porn
I got some BF and other promotional idlers from @MannDude ...didn't know what to do with them until now
Next chapter in the CharityGate saga.
@ServerBachelor imagine you hosted host.charity using one of charityhost's vps's ππ
The CharityGate just keeps opening wider and wider!
I ain't giving him more money
Thanks, but to be fair, I would imagine any host would have handled the abuse report the same way.
The website is just a collection of screenshots and publicly visible information. I hadn't seen it before, but after scrolling for like 5 seconds it was clear it wasn't an actionable report.
Basically every German provider with no business in the US should suffice. Germany has strong laws protecting freedom of speech and journalism. If your website contains the links to his posts to show that they are authentic, hes fucked. As this is a public forum and the posts were made public by himself, there simply is no German law that could enforce a takedown.
True, but I think I recall hearing some hosts just donβt like abuse reports and ban based off that, though, even if itβs false. Glad you aren't one of them
You'd be surprised. 5 seconds of scrolling is more than most people would do!
I'm sure there are EU providers here that would host it.
Trust me, this clown does not have the kind of spare money it takes to go all out. As a US citizen he can not simply walk into a German Police station / Court.
He would need a case / On-going law suit in the US. The US and A will check if there are any relationships from the German based company to the US. If there are none -> hes fucked.
Exhibit C: https://host.charity/index.html#nodeseekvictimplaying
That dude doesn't understand the Streisand effect. And how internet works in general. You won't get rid of what has been published already and if you try to take it down there will be hundred copies of that site on various idlers people collected here. Don't push your luck, man.
Unfortunately, no. Many hosts just block as soon as the receive any notice.
Given the false notice to take down a legitimate website and violate 1st amendment rights - you can now pursue CH in federal court legally and win very easily.
You can further collect defamation damages through false defamatory complaint they filed and @MannDude is smart to not to fall for his nonsense.
It is only defamatory if none of it isnβt true and you based it all on screenshots. Which is factual evidence.
I honestly want to see all this go away but CH just keeps digging himself a bigger grave.
I am tired of this nonsense but Andrew just doesn't know when to stop.
