[Help] Cancelling the fame system RS

I bought Windows Epyc 9654 Root Server (easter) promo from FameSystem but due to not being expected performance (it is good but better alternative available now), I want to cancel the server but I can't find any section to cancel the server or cancel the contract.

The panel is very pretty but has lots of hidden menus.

Can anyone tell me where to find the Root server cancel section? I really don't want to raise a ticket for such a trivial thing.

@angstrom Can you move it to appropriate category?

    you just let it expires

when time is up , it's automatically cancelled

    like this

so first server if I don't extend it in 12 days , it will be gone

So every product is non refundable?

Well, for that part I have no idea...

    There are 3 options:

    • let it expire automatically
    • cancel early and get back 50% of remaining value (https://famesystems.de/agb)
    • try service transfer to get back full value

Cancel early only via ticket I guess.

It might just be better to transfer it to someone else for a higher price to make up for the costs if you have no use for the VM.

@itachikonoha Based on history I think that service transfers are free but you have to ask permission via ticket first

Yes. This is a promo offer so someone might able to use it better. Their windows root server starts at 11 euro but this one is just 3.99 euro.

    2x AMD EPYC 9654/9754 Cores
    4 GB DDR5 RAM
120 GB PCIe 5.0 NVME storage space
    1 IPv4 adress
    /64-IPv6 subnet
    2 Gbit/s (Shared)
    1 TB Fair-Use Traffic
    Premium Arbor DDoS Protection

It's a good config actually at that price. Cores are dedicated as per the panel

My understanding is that it's not a VDS but it's dedicated in the sense that extended use up to 100% is allowed with no throttle, if the CPU performance drops you can power down and restart the VPS using the control panel and the load balancer should automatically move it to a less busy node

Modern terms confuse me. I guess I am the older generation who finds these things very complicated lol.

I think confusion is because there is no industry standard so providers use terms differently, FameSystems used to advertise CPU as dedicated on LET but removed the term on offer threads after there was some discussion

It's great value though, I have had FameSystems servers for a few months and YABS score for EPYC 9654 has been consistently high given the price and usage allowance (GB6 1700-2000 per core)

Whatโ€™s the fastest, surefire way to get a server cancelled for TOS violation without breaking any laws? Mining crypto?

    Definitely.
Mining crypto. Mass spamming. That ought to get their attention. If not maybe charging back the last payment. That always works.
