SCAMMED by SpaceBerg.cc – Lost $700+

sujeetsujeet Member

I want to share my experience to warn others: I was scammed by SpaceBerg.cc, a hosting provider that turned out to be extremely unreliable and possibly fraudulent.

🔹 Around 7–8 months ago, I purchased four Ryzen 7900 servers from SpaceBerg. I later found out that they are just resellers of PebbleHost.com, and the servers were actually provided by PebbleHost.

🔹 On Valentine’s Day, they offered a 50% cashback promotion. I trusted the company and loaded $1,000 into my account to make use of the offer. Everything seemed fine… until recently.

🔹 In early April, all four of my servers were suddenly taken offline, with the excuse that there was a VLAN issue. For over 10 days, they kept saying the problem would be fixed “soon” — but nothing happened.

🔹 Today, I did an IP check and found that the hostname provider has changed, meaning SpaceBerg no longer has access to the servers. They are not even responding anymore. It’s clear they abandoned the servers and ran off.

🔹 I’ve been trying to reach out directly to PebbleHost to verify what's happening, but so far, no resolution.

🚫 This is a warning to anyone considering SpaceBerg.cc – do NOT trust them. They lured customers with fake promotions and then disappeared. I’ve lost over $700+ worth of services, and they’ve gone completely silent.

I hope this review prevents others from falling for the same trap.

They reply...

`Please do not follow up on a ticket; it will not speed up the response.

We've asked our supplier to check, and we will get back to you once they get back to us with a resolution.`

As already mentioned, we will update you once there will be any, it's in progess.

The datacenter team is looking into the issue. We'll let you know the cause as soon as they find it.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. Right now, we're just waiting for the DC output.

Yes, we acknowledge that from you within this ticket. The work is in progress by the datacenter team on a fix.

We have yet to receive a response regarding that, however, I have sent them a follow-up. As soon as there is a reply, I will forward it to you.

Datacenter informed us that the issue has been fixed. It has been related to PSU, we can also see that the servers are up.

Please don't pursue this ticket. We'll see all of your responses, making multiple responses won't speed up the resolution process. We always get back to the customer when we have updates or a solution. Can you explain what you mean by "No server respond"? Everything seems to be working fine on my end. I've checked everything and haven't found any problems, apart from the ones the data centre has already fixed.

We're checking once more, please hold on.

We're finishing a few last interactions and checks and will get back to you shortly.

We got a confirmation that it's a VLAN issue, they are fixing it right now.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I completely understand your frustration. It's odd and unusual because everything was working fine before. We're waiting for a fix from the provider now that we've identified the cause.

***SpaceBerg.cc Indian Company.PebbleHost.com should suspend them.

50% cashback was really good deal to ignore, so that I understand.

We are still waiting for the update. It’s Easter in Europe, that’s why they might work in reduced capacity and resolution taking a little bit longer.

Bought a storage vps from spaceberg before, luckily it was a monthly payment. Just like you, the server suddenly went offline one day. Tickets were useless, they just dragged their feet, and ultimately I didn't get any refund. Looks like they're still running their scam business to this day.

this is the recent review from a customer of spaceberg.cc
    as posted on trustpilot.

Be careful with this company. On February 25th they supposedly had a failure and for 2 months they did not restore the servers. They lied all the time that they were replacing parts, that it was slow, but in reality they did not have money to pay for the servers they rented (I have confirmation from the supplier). I have been waiting for 5 weeks for a refund, which was sent and has not arrived to this day.
