Did you fix your ddos "protection" filter yet? When I last had service with you, if I used network for anything (including a simple speedtest.net run) my VM would get severely throttled (nothing connects, 95% packet loss) for 30 mins. Support never fixed the issue, since I reported to the day the service was terminated, it was more than 6 months.
Do you happen to have a ticket ID? I don't recall an issue like this, what location did you use?
This was like 3-4 years ago, in LA2? It might not have been a ddos filtering issue but my server was constantly losing packet and support couldn't fix it, lead to me letting the server expiring (as it was not usable). I'll PM you the ticket number if you want to check anyways.
HostUS went downhill some years ago with multiple negative reviews about issues, unresponsive support, etc. They never provided a good explanation here.
Later, they sold part of their customer base apparently... not sure about the current status, or if Alexander is still running the show.
Ah, we've dropped other LA points of presence now as the recent decline of Quadranet was our secondary location for LA so I would hope your issue would be no more now but please do pass the ticket ID in PM and I can take a look, thank you.

Alexander (me) owns and operates HostUS since day 1 - I have a great team now that I’ve built over the years.
I’m pretty sure over the last year we have made massive improvements. Most the negative reviews were from these services, but we operate now a very good business.
